I think it’d be cool to be a songwriter. What type of songs do you write?

@shannon A guy named Eli whom I never knew came up with the original concept as a PDF e-magazine that was sent out once a quarter. @reaganramm joined him in his mission and eventually expanded it from a small emag to a full website after Eli had to move on. Reagan’s the only member of the original staff who’s still on the team.

For 1 and 3, I would probably have the subtitle “a time travel novel”.

Most YA novels are around 100k.

Playing the Numbers: Basic Word Counts

I haven’t frequented this website recently because . . . college. 🙁 But I when I logged in this morning, I was blown away by the new design. Dang, you guys did great!

For a first time author, generally 60-90k is the way to go but some genres like fantasy/sci-fi are more like 90k-110k because of all the additional worldbuilding.
