@dekreel @aislinn-mollisong Hey guys! Are y’all still up for beta-reading that book of mine? If not, that’s fine because I still have nearly 4 others, but I just wanted to confirm…

I set an amount of words that I need to write each day. Usually, that’s 1000 words, which can be anywhere from 15 mins of writing to an hour.
To keep from getting distracted, I close out of internet explorers and google, although sometimes that doesn’t work. Just so long as I reach 1000 words a day. (it doesn’t have to be that…[Read more]

@gh24682468999 I like to commit myself to write till I reach a certain goal. Either for  30min-1hr or till I write 500 words. Nothing too big, or I won’t be able to handle it. Try to write at your peak energy level too. I don’t always get the chance, but I like to write in the morning, and I always write in the afternoon. The evening is when my…[Read more]

Even though he was weaker than Dragon-snapper. Tell him that I commiserate with him on that point. No one can defeat her. Unless I can figure out a way to immobilize her in a pile of glitter 😉
Oh, thanks! Stan is super pleased. He knows the pain of the rest of the world, having to submit to…

@dekreel Here-ing.
@inkling-for-christ Ah! Nice topic! 😀
Challenge: Show
Setting: Fell off a tree
Cat watched Dog balance on the branch, wobbling then proceeding to bark every so often.
“When are you going to fall?” Cat asked, licking her paw.
Dog snarled, “You got me into this mess! Help me!”
“Don’t chase me,” Cat said.
Dog bristled, his…[Read more] -

@sleepwalkingmk Good thoughts–the records of the biblical kings in Kings and Chronicles form some really interesting case studies of Experiments in Living & Poetic Justice. You can certainly use dramatic irony like that to create catharsis; in recent storytelling, Rogue One also uses a similar narrative technique in similar fashion (albeit with…[Read more]

You happened to mention that you couldn’t wait for part 2 of my course to come out. There’s danger to that. 😛
I’ve got part 2 all scripted and I just need to write the homework and then record it. I’m planning to write all the homework this week.
I don’t know what your schedule is like, but if you’re interested, I could…[Read more]

Thanks @aislinn-mollisong,
Your email is Molly Player, right? I’ll send you the lessons tomorrow — I won’t have the homework ready for a couple days.

@devastate-lasting She fell into his arms? Why don’t I remember this?
Oh, well. The mask scene was cool enough. I don’t need an ultra-dramatic scene.

@daeus Not only did you ship Ren and Rey, but you also called Snoke cute…
I’m just gonna go melt a chair.

@that_writer_girl_99 Yeah, I Renreyed (new word) the moment Ren took his helmet off.
Which isn’t really like me, but… the movie made me do it!
Btw, guys, you gotta understand that Snoke was actually really cool. Not because he was a scary villain, but because he wasn’t a scary villain. His perpetual good humor is something you almost never see…[Read more]

@daeus NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Never. STAR WARS IS NOT A ROMANCE.
Okay…so am I the only one who actually does not like this one as much as Force Awakens. I know I posted earlier, but I’m thinking about it more.
*prepares for everyone to retaliate*
I found Snoke a little disappointing. In the Force Awakens he was a mysterious…[Read more]

@ethryndal I love that Knights of Ren idea. I honestly haven’t had much of a clue as to what’s going to happen in episode 9 — which is awesome — but I think that would work really well if it turned out to be so.
