I like how Konner and the others are afraid of the Empire. That seems realistic—I would be surprised if in a time like this, all the Christians were courageous enough to defy the government always. Julian’s speech is good. Very rousing. A few parts didn’t make sense.
“If we make decisions based on survival, and only on the abi…

Good section. I’m glad Leon and Julian saved Hue. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in the Capital.

I didn’t get tagged for the last section, so I read them both today. I like it a lot. Linus (?) was right, it was time to go back into the cities. Sad for all those at the University. I like how you showed a threat to the church besides the Soldiers—a threat from the inside. And I’m guessing Andreas is also a former fighter that…[Read more]

I do remember Julian talking to Ernst about his father, if that’s what you’re talking about. Nice to get a glimpse into his state of mind before… well…

Oh no. 😭 Poor Rolf.
I really liked this section… even though it was sad. You did a good job with the action and tying in Lieutenant Roth’s story to the main plot.

That’s good that they’ll be more distinguishable— but I hope that doesn’t mean they’ll drift apart.
Yeah xD It would be interesting. It was a sweet scene though.

I liked the transition right at the scene break before Liesl and Roland got married. And how you showed Leon’s state of mind after the fever and how Julian didn’t understand it.

A lot of great analogies are lost on me. God as a Father is a dearly sweet one I understand from the perspective of a daughter. My dad is wonderful.
But then God as a King? I live in a country with a president.
God as a Judge? I’ve been to court once, but that was just for jury selection and since I didn’t get picked, I didn’t see them in…[Read more] -

Not really… no suggestions really stood out. 🤷♀️

Yeah, but if there’s a lot of plants, chances are there’s a lot of animals surviving off of that, which means the wolves shouldn’t be having much trouble finding food.
You could just take out this sentence:
The wolves growled, but they were hungry, and they decided the threat was worth the potential kill. The winter had been…

That sounds like fun! I’m not exactly sure how busy I’ll be this summer, but I’d love to join in. The next few weeks are going to be kind of crazy though.

Oh no!!! Not Leon!!
Good section. One thing I noticed was that you mentioned that the people were able to find a lot of food during the winter… then you said that it had been hard on everyone, especially the wolves. I get that they eat meat and not plants, but it was kind of confusing.
otherwise, good job! 😬
