Ooooo, the ocean. I like the ocean. (Just don’t think about what could be lurking under the waves. . . 😳🦈🐉🦑)
Poem number 4 (Is that a gentle way of ending this little game, or a challenge 😎 ????)
Stalling
I have stuff to do
dire and dear things
Important and near things
I must go!
but,
I don’t want to
Why is it,
that a task…[Read more]

Well, I really haven’t been paying enough attention have I? I just saw this tag. =|
That sounds like a good start for a story, and is making ideas spring into my head. If written well it wouldn’t be cliche. It has some possibilities for a powerful storyline.
Random spark of ideas- What if this country is something like Israel under…[Read more]

@godlyfantasy12 Ah, yes. Killing off a character, and then bringing them back. Happened to me. Poor Howzer, sacrificing himself to kill a villain. I’m not sure why, but I started feeling bad about killing him off and had his friend Feather pull off a crazy plan to bring him back. Which worked. Maybe that was a bad idea, because now he and two of…[Read more]

Yeah, murdering characters is definitely one of those harder things about story plotting. I have a MIA in one of mine who won’t come back, even though part of me is testing that point pretty hard.
Oh…
huge Wingfeather spoilerÂwas so well written, but, ahh, it hurt. *Sniff* -

Whatever-you-want-to-call-me it’s nice to meet you! (Though, I am not sure you really want to meet me! *Bwahahahaa-ah-ah-CHOO!!!*) You may refer to me as Your Royal Slowness, King Power of the Slugs. That or you may refer to me as the Black Mongoose. Or, if you want to really make it simple call me Power@.

@elanor I Like it!!! The end is so satisfying. *Sits back in chair, sighs, grins*
Ya, the baboon poem was. . . interesting.
I understand about the idea pop into head thing. My problem is the opposite though. My brain is like forging a sword, I must strike while the iron is hot. If I don’t, the iron stops glowing, and I tend to forget my…[Read more]

Hello, my name is Power. May your enemies fear you, and your foes shrink back at you present. . . Okay!!, Now that I finished that brutally bad beginning (bummer) it’s fun time! I am also a lover of the art of medieval weaponry! (Nothing like having a good sword/knife/quarterstaff fight with someone) If you ever have a…[Read more] -

@trahia-the-minstrel I don’t remember who the other one was, but yep–that was Wrecker, complaining about not blowing stuff up! And yes, I love those characters too–in my mind, it’s too hard not to…..

Greeting, hello, hi, how are you, how do you do, howdy, and any other form of greeting that you can think of (I’m tied, please don’t make me do all the work). My names Power, or you can call me the Black Mongoose. That’s probably all you really need to know about me!
p.s. Never try to swallow an egg whole. It will stunt your growth permanently.

You’re welcome! Yes, either of those questions I think would be good.
I think that’s true? I’ve never really thought about it until now, so I don’t know. Like I said earlier, I may not be the very best person to ask for advice on this. Still, that sounds right to me, and now that I think of it, I have read books that have changed thematic…[Read more]

Okay, so I can’t say I’m the best person to ask for advice on this, but I’ll certainly try to help. Just take whatever I say with a grain of salt since I’m not really super experienced in this part of writing.
I would guess that your thematic question would be that everyone is important and that they all have a purpose no matter how rich or poor.…[Read more]

YES.
- A whole Jurassic World fanfiction, themed after a Warriors/Survivors style, was created from a Disney song. Confused yet? It didn’t go far, but it happened.
- I’ve found that the film scores for the Transformers movies would make a nice soundtrack for the stories that my brother and I work on together. I’ve never seen and don’t really care…

My disappointment at no fire is best summed up with a quote from a favorite TV show:
(a character) Please tell me we’re blowing something up.
(the other character) Sorry [the first one’s name], this is strictly a stealth mission.
(first character) Aaaagh, I hate that word!!
So at least we’re not going on a stealth mission rather than setting…[Read more]

Wow, that poem sounds like a modern psalm! Like others have said, I think writing it with a specific pattern of syllables might help, but other than that I’m not a big poet, so I can’t really help much. I like it though! It’s awesome!
