YES, she is! And also yes, you first meet her in Ember Rising.
I still haven’t read all of Ember Falls. You know, that one part. *Sob*I have a friend who was still Pemma, but she’s not so sure now. *Shrug* They all develope a bit in the last couple books. (Reason I’m one of those rare people who prefer Green Embers to all…[Read more]

AHHHH! THOSE ARE AWESOME!
Wheazy is hilarious! She’s Helmer’s niece. She’s a slave in First Warre (and is still soooo like her uncle). When they first meet she thinks he’s a trespasser and tries to shoot Pick.
I used to be totally Picket&Emma, but by the end of the books those two are like, brother and…[Read more]

Why, hello to you too! I’m Koshka, a writer of non-magical medieval-fantasy, and other stuff.
And now, Askthenewbequestions!
- What is your least favorite animal?
- Would you prefer to own a horse the rest of your life (you pick the breed) or ride a dragon for a day (again, you pick the type)?
- What is your favorite character’s hair…

@freedomwriter76 That’s actually kinda cool! I’ve seen, like, ONE old nineteen-something-something’s cartoon episode starring the X-men (that my dad put on randomly several months or maybe even a year ago), but mutated characters with cool powers is sort of my thing.
And yes @godlyfantasy12 Let’s go whack Pierce! Barely know who Pierce is, but…[Read more]

Note, I won’t be able to RP tomorrow, most likely. I’ll be on an airplane…a trip to Arizona and the Grand Canyon that my family’s been planning since May.

“What about you? Where are you from?” Eva asked.
Crosshair stiffened slightly.
Should he tell her?
She didn’t look…[Read more]

@koshka @queen_of_alvastia Yep……I cried creating those parts of the story. Hunter’s one of my favorite characters, and Liberty’s awesome too.

Not good at all. Think of a medieval form of Hans who is also extremely manipulative. Calm almost kind demeanor, black heart. If Zlatan and Riker get to talk they can compare the two.
Uh, yeah that probably wouldn’t end well. For anyone.

It’s my brother’s bearded dragon, named Sir Spike. (We have this thing in our family for knighting pets…)
Neither could I.

Ouch, those are hard scenes to write. I know next to nothing about those characters, but I can still feel the sorrow it that story.
Poor Liberty.

@freedomwriter76 @keilah-h @godlyfantasy12
I had a scarlet beta with white tipped fins. (It was originally supposed to be our church’s toddler class pet, but came home with the teacher, aka Mama, and became mine.) I named it Excalibur. It died last year.
Our family also has two dogs (a shepherd Mut and a Pyranees Labrador named Sir Duncan), two…[Read more]

I had a blue and red betta a long time ago called Fan. Lived two years, died a while back.
@godlyfantasy12 Cool! Snakes are awesome, but I doubt my mom would let me have one. A lizard….maybe….but not for a while….
My family has a golden doodle named Sky. Cutest thing ever but an absolute lunatic…

@freedomwriter76 Thank you! And here’s a little aftermath scene from Liberty’s POV, probably a few days to weeks later:
Liberty awoke to the squeaky crow of a small rooster.
Hunter had always called that one “Screwup” because of its weird crow.
She almost expected him to fling something at the window and startle the rooster, the same way he’…

@freedomwriter76 I know. I didn’t think I knew, but now I know FULL WELL.
So how’d you like the scenes? Apart from the character’s death of course, which is never a good thing.
I was wondering if I was being a little overtly dramatic, but if you liked it I’d like to know!
