Marcel
Marcel wasn’t entirely sure how to lead the group. He had never led a team larger than half a dozen people in this place before. Still, it was only a game and it wasn’t the end of the world if he suggested something wrong.
He rolled his shoulders and crossed his arms…[Read more]

The best way to introduce the characters to each other might be when they sit down to eat. Not talking for an entire feast would be pretty awkward

@loopylin @anyone
Moth
Warm, rich scents wafted up the grand staircase. Moth, who had chosen to exit his room and speak to people, found himself caught up in the crowd. Luggage was forgotten; groups dispersed and reappeared in different forms. All boys traveled towards the dining hall.
The dining hall’s carved walls reached the ceiling with…[Read more]

Lucille
The tower’s door had a warped surface and a handle. Lucy tugged. When that didn’t work, she slipped both her arms through the handle and put her feet on the frame for leverage. She was young, but she was a warden’s daughter, and she would force this if her life depended on it.
Her arms whitened, fit to break from the press…[Read more]

Of course! And I understand hating your own writing. I was looking at my old roleplays a bit ago and they hurt my brain.
Also, I really, really love your descriptions.
Thank you! I’ve been trying to describe things thoroughly even though it’s tedious at times. Cuz afterwards I’m glad to have done it.

That is perhaps the most iconic side character focused entry I have seen in a roleplay. That was needed. I appreciate your thoughtful addition.

To my fellow roleplayers, I am sick today and need a break from KP. Will update some threads when I feel better!

My friend, who is into online security, got back to me. He thinks creating accounts anywhere is fine, as long as you use false personal information and don’t reuse passwords. So as long as we are not sharing any personal information on the site, Notion should be fine.Alternatively, he recommended we could just use Microsoft…[Read more]

There’s not really anything deep behind why I write about my characters. If I like the charrie, high chances I’m going to draw them too much and write about them. If I have to be slightly deep, I think it’s just me enjoying the characters I have while blocking out the real world around me, using writing as a way to embrace different parts of the…[Read more]

Yes, I do every year, except this year because my Mom made canned cranberry sauce…hence why I didn’t eat it because it wasn’t the recipe I like.
I don’t eat it on anything, just straight cranberry sauce.

In Guardian AngelsÂ
my beloved flopNahim, in his earliest form, was a broken soldier finding healing. At first he was just another character, but eventually, as I got older and hit troubles in my life, I began to morph him into something that resembled some of my thoughts and feelings. He became almost a way of self-expression over the years, b…[Read more] -

It’s not painful to read. You describe things clearly, there are varied sentence lengths, and you suggest emotion at sprinkled points through the sections. You also don’t harp on descriptions, which is something I struggle with.
Thanks.
But stubborn me still hates it (it’s a me problem, I am genuinely thankful)
Also, I really, reall…[Read more]

The Protector — Gabriel Mai
Gabriel nodded, his jaw tight, knowing Lucy couldn’t get there in time. He judged the distance, and the closeness of the crows, but before he finished thinking, he sheathed his daggers and scooped Lucy up, apologizing, remembering how she kicked him last time. Then he ran for what felt like the m…[Read more]

Lucille
Lucy did not run without the Protector. She grabbed his arm and yanked him forward, pointing. “No – Th-that way!”
The tower had an opening at the base – a scuffed metal lid. She hadn’t noticed it before and now it was far from them both. But the crows’ shadows grew around them and the Protector surely couldn’t fight them off. He…[Read more]

Why did you choose to write about your main character?
This is as complicated as it sounds! Characters are multi-faceted and ever-changing, so when faced with this question, it might be hard to answer. Do you write about them because you relate to them, carry a message through them, or simply enjoy their unique existence? It’s different for…[Read more]
