Three Ducks in a Trench Coat replied to the topic Anyone want to take a survey for an essay I'm writing? in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 month, 2 weeks ago
I filled it out! I’m a sheltered homeschooler with no phone, so I’m definitely not average here. XD

Baptism is necessary if it is available. The thief on the cross was not baptized, and was yet saved. Miscarried children are unbaptized, and yet they are saved. So yes, to become a Christian, one should be baptized, but a believer who was unable to be baptized wouldn’t go to Hell. I don’t think God would send a devout believer to Hell…[Read more]

Wait, do you believe baptism is necessary to enter Heaven?

I hope to make it, but I’ll likely be late. Also, my brother is threatening to come in and shout weird/embarrassing stuff, and throw things, so just be warned. *sigh* I can’t wait till he has a video call.

Vyette tosses her braids. “Why would anyone want a job if they could marry rich? I want to be the First Lady.”
Barnes, what is your most embarrassing moment? If it were raining tacos, would you eat them? (That last is my new favorite question. XD)

I like older love triangles, such as Roy, Gilbert, and Anne in Anne of the Island, or Rhett, Ashley, and Scarlett in Gone with the Wind. Modern ones drive me crazy.

Celarent’s eyes grow huge. “I’d buy a red automobile! The rest I’d probably save to buy votes someday. Or maybe a house.”
Mel, who is the most annoying person you know? If it were raining tacos, would you eat them?

So I get my handcuffs, my cyanide pills
My classified dossier
Tapping the phones like, yeah
Shredding the files like, yeah -

I’m feeling nervous but I’m really kinda wishing
For another undercover mission
That’s when the red alert came on the radio
And I put my earpiece on
Got my dark sunglasses on
And I had my weapon drawn -

Those men in black with their matching suitcases
Where everything’s on a need-to-know basis
Agents got that swagger
And everyone so cloak and dagger -

I moved out to Langley recently
With a plain and simple dream
Wanna infiltrate some third-world place
And topple their regime-

First person present writing. I’ve liked books with this style, but it’s not my favorite.
Romances where it takes less than a month for characters to fall in love.
Pop culture references. I hate it when books are full of pop culture references. Granted, this may be because I’m a very sheltered homeschooler and get none of them.
Why is every…[Read more]

I may do this for other characters that need more development, but I feel like writing in Ayla’s POV right now.
