Ellis

Ellis dodged aside as the thing changed again, this time into a giant snake.

How do we beat this thing?

It was time to try something reckless. Ellis stopped, back against the wall.

“Alright, come and get me you overgrown worm!” he called. His legs tensed, ready to move if it attacked him again.

Ellis

Ellis rolled to the side as the thing shot sticky webs and balls of acid at him. He brought up his sword to block another.

Gritting his teeth he charged forward, dodging left and right, trying to be unpredictable.

He lunged towards the monster, sweeping at it with his sword.

Ellis

”I’m going to look for Fennin,” Ellis said. “You three stay here.”

He headed down the hall. Pretty soon, he heard a clamor.

What now?

Ellis turned the corner to see Zahlin being attacked by a monstrous…something.

Ellis drew Conviction.

“Hey you!” he shouted. “Whatever you are, prepare to die!”

Zahlin

Zahlin dodged out of the way of the creature. What was this thing? He lashed out at it with his Sword. Whatever it was, Zahlin was going to make sure it didn’t survive this encounter.

Oh dear Fracture you’re in trouble now 😅

Krenna

Krenna extended her fist toward Fracture, then generated a crystal blade from it.

Zahlin

Zahlin snarled and sliced his legs free. He rose to his feet, eyeing the creature. He kept his Sword at the ready, prepared to ward off anything this creature might try.

Ugh, my phone had a software update and now won’t stop giving me grammar suggestions!

I think he had too many chai lattes.

“Do you think I didn’t know that, impudent child?” Fracture roared. He actually had always thought that you had bones in your brain, but he wasn’t going to tell Krenna that. “It was a metaphor. And how do you know you don’t have bones in your brain? What if you do, and that’s why you’re so dumb!”
