@sam-kowal Yes, that was the G-rated ending. Troopers getting crunched in half might raise it a notch or two. 😉

@sam-kowal Rebels? And charismatic ones too? We can’t have that!
”Calling governmental anti-rebel task force, we have a situation on our hands here.”
”Roger that. Convening on your location now.”
*Looks up and sees a squad of governmental anti-rebel task force special ops troopers with weapons aimed at me* *Remembers I’m a rebel too*…[Read more]

@sam-kowal I like your idea about the bell. I feel like someone would “ring the bell” on every forum thread though! 😉

@sam-kowal *waves hand slowly in front of eyes* You will read The Count of Monte Cristo. It is the book you’re looking for. *Silently raises hood of black cloak* *walks away mysteriously*

@sam-kowal Welcome! We can always use more dragons on here. Why not? And Stan sounds especially cool. 🙂

So, I have an idea on the less nuclear-natural disaster side of things. What if the whole population has been lied to for years about the war. The government has trained everyone to believe that it was a war between their country and an evil outside country, but it was actually a revolt where some man or group started an uprising,…[Read more]

@epicaddie2 XD Yeah, me neither.

@epicaddie2 Yeah, the shire would be really cool, but I’d probably end up as a Took and go adventuring. 😉
I forgot about the books! Dwarves don’t really read books, do they? Hmm… that would be a problem.

Best character(s): Frodo and Sam all the way.
Best location: Erebor… I would gladly be a dwarf just to live there. Caves, mines, gigantic furnaces, gigantic halls, all made out of impenetrable rock… PERFECT!!
Best battle: Battle of Minis Tirith in Return of the King.

Your idea of
haiku-speaking characters
has been done before:
Yoda in the book
William Shakespeare’s the Em-
pire Striketh Back.
It actually works really well in that book.
(I got lazy and didn’t want to write any more haikus. 🙂 )

You guys are crazy!
I can’t talk like normal now,
only in haikus. It is kind of fun,
though. I like your idea.
Someone should try it.😀

An onimous voice,
in the dark: “It is time for
the Jedi to end.😀
A brown shape zooms past,
tail wagging and tongue panting-
It’s my dog, Porter. The moonlight shimmers.
Stars and trees appear hazy
mirrored in the lake’s depths.I could do some more,
but I’m starting to get tired.
To bed I go.The last one is one of Daeus’s 6-8-4 haikus.

@dragon-snapper *grins* Oya! I would pay a pretty penny to have a suit of Mando armor.
My novel’s basically an alien invasion story, but I’m trying to do a different take on it. We’ll see how it turns out.
The False Prince. That sounds interesting. *adds to actual list*
Well, asides from recommending Star Wars books (read Thrawn), I can alway…[Read more] -
