That’s a something I didn’t actually think of! *raises hand to give you a high five* I have now been gifted with an idea I am VERY excited to write about, so–
Lol glad I could be of service!

Heyyyy I missed this topic’s beginning while I was gone, but I’m glad I found out about it now! It was quite interesting reading through everything, and now I have so many thoughts I don’t know what to do with them lol!
I do have one thought for you, though. I’m not gonna repeat everything the others were saying, but my one suggestion…[Read more]

TBH, Whaley, Ellette and Koshka are all basically saying riffs on the same thing from what I can tell. It’s ok to have a girl fighting if she needs to (or if she thinks she needs to, which could be an important character arc), but don’t make her into what’s basically a guy with long hair and wide hips. (I mean, like the judge Deborah in…[Read more]

Now, I wouldn’t make too big of a deal out of this. You know your character’s temperaments, backgrounds, personalities. Those will dictate how they react to situations as much if not far more than whether they are male or female. Let them do what you feel they would as a character. Keep a good balance in mind, but don’t worry so much…

I’m fine with women going into battle, as long as they dress, act, and fight like women (and the author doesn’t try to make some weird point out of it). It’s when girls start saying things like “I’m just as good as a guy” or “I’m better than any guy.” Because, while I believe that all people are in fact equal, what the author sounds like…[Read more]

Hmmm. I always believe it’s best to give leadership rolls and protector rolls to men, but there are times when a woman does need to step in. I have no problem with a woman defending herself or others. However, running into battle, leading armies, leading campaigns, leading missions, I don’t think that is a woman’s proper place.
I’m…[Read more]

We all loved the Little House books, and we had a bunch of settler costumes we’d wear. One of the only ways my mom could get us to clean the house was to pretend to be Ma, and then I’d be Mary, and my sister would be Laura, and when the youngest was old enough to play she was Carrie. We’d have SO much fun cleaning, you wouldn’t believe…

I still love role playing games, even though I don’t play them very often anymore.😂 Dollhouse, except it would catch fire, tea party, but the rubber duck’s little brothers would find a way to wreck it, new rubber ducks had to make perilous journeys to reach the other ones, a ridiculous amount of romantic drama…our toys have int…[Read more]

@liberty lol. I have 52 snowballs as of the last count.

@ellette-giselle Glad you liked it! This is probably the closest thing to a romance plot that I’ve written. (Instead of it being a small side plot.)

That’s really cool, I’m a Catholic and we celebrate Advent too though we don’t have all the same days as you mentioned.
Thanks for the video, I’ll check it out.

Hello, I have a question for you all. Do you celebrate Christmas? Apparently, some Christians don’t, which I did not know until this month. After doing some research on Christmas, I’m on the fence, but I’m curious as to what your thoughts on it are and why you think that.

I know I told the others I would wait until the end of this draft before I discussed if the way I included magic in the last chapter went too far, but in the mean time, I would love to here your thoughts on the matter.
