And also, don’t feel obligated to write in first person. Do what’s best for your story. And we might have too much fiction from that POV — just because it’s mainstream doesn’t mean you should necessarily do it.

I wouldn’t be much help in this situation because I’m struggling with the exact same thing.
I have been writing random “scenes” because I find them less boring than sitting down and writing the whole book in order. I guess I should start to plough through the first draft…but *whines* I don’t want to!
Anyhow, you’re not alone 🙂

Oooh that’s a hard one.
The problem is that we have no way of proving whether something outside of scripture is true or not unless overwhelmed with evidence.

If the answer to the question of the universe is 42, is the question seven times seven? Is that why the number seven appears so much in the bible?

I was thinking it was a love poem as I read the beginning.

I’m pretty sure you can do it twice if you want to. I only put two because I wasn’t completely sure how many people are suggesting and I don’t want to have like two hundred books to put in the voting forms XD
I have the same problem! I have read literally hundreds of books, but I can never think of them.

I love choir! It’s just sometimes a pain because I’m not part of only one…I do the parish choir, the children’s choir, and the choir at my school. A unique thing about my church is that we’re the only parish to have a children’s choir and a children’s mass, where the children sing, the children do the readings, and the children run…[Read more]

What’s up with that jingle? I’ve got nothing in my head but the billion songs I’m trying to keep straight for choir.
That sounds like a great idea! I love fantasy (but since I read the Lord of the Rings nothing seems to measure up lol) and that’s what I write. But everything else is amazing too!

Yeah, I watched Fantastic Beasts with the expectation of an amazing film — and my expectations were dashed. Dumbledore is indeed gay in the film, but it’s unclear whether or not he regrets his gay relationship with Grindlewald (or what nearly became a gay relationship).
Anyways, I do think it’s time for suggestions. But I can’t…[Read more]

So here are some Artemis Fowl quotes:

I hate soft apples! I can only eat the crunchy ones. Oh well, I suppose somebody has to eat all the poor rejected apples I have turned my back on. When my apples get soft I usually try to get my dad to make applesauce. He doesn’t like me to brag for him, but his applesauce is amazing, by the…[Read more]

I do think that if Harry Potter would cause you or someone you know to stumble, you shouldn’t read it. I mean, doesn’t the bible say that if your eye causes you to sin, to cut it out? I read Harry Potter and I found it harmless in my situation, but to others it could be detrimental. Anyhow, just like you said, I don’t want to spark a…[Read more]

We should probably define “magic.”
Agreed. Totally agreed. Does anyone have any ideas? My brain is just as dry as store bought peanut butter cookies. (Homemade ones aren’t dry enough to describe my brain right now.)
