@jess Don’t! Spelling mistakes are sooo easy to make… and other kinds of mistakes can be funny. When I was little I thought the third commandment was “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God to Spain!” 😛 😀 So yeah, missionaries to Spain are off limits. Which is funny, since we have some friends who are missionaries to Spain… 😉

@sleepwalkingmk Alrighty then! Good night! 😉 (actually it’s still evening over here… where are you at again? But get some sleep before you answer. Seriously. Things on here get even crazier than normal when we have sleep deprived folk on board. 😉 )

@jess Yeah, it’s Corissa, not Corrisa. Two s’s, not two r’s. 😉
Hey, @kate-flournoy‘s an INFP, aren’t you? Does my memory serve me correctly? We need some insight over here! 😀

@jess Exactly. Of course, there’s a time and place where “breaking down” is perfectly fine. Funerals, weddings, even high-school graduations (there’s one fellow I know who cries every time he tries to give a speech when one of his kids graduates), those are times when it can be appropriate to cry (as long as you don’t completely lose control and…[Read more]

@sleepwalkingmk Ah, I see. I can’t imagine what my family would do to me if I used the same accent all the time. My dad says that “variety makes it bearable.” 😉
Yeah, fear of breaking down in public I think is generally just human- unless you want to be the center of attention, like some kind of variant of a hypochondriac or something. I don’t…[Read more]

People who act only on emotion and against all logic are bewildering.
@hope YEEEEEESSSS!!! I just don’t get it. I hate it when people do that in movies- I usually try to find some rational reason and grasp onto that because I don’t like to think that there are actually people out there who act purely based on emotion and entirely against logic.…[Read more]

Guysssssssssss *wails* I get home from church and get 38 emails…almost all of them from this thread. *pouts* I can’t keep up with you all.
And now, @Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise, @Kate-flournoy, @Jess, on to INTJs.
Kate is pretty much right. The logic. The suppressing emotions and not showing it because it’s ‘just’ a feeling and isn’t what…[Read more]

@sleepwalkingmk Oh, you play soccer? Cool! My pen-pal plays soccer too; in fact, her team was part of some kind of big nationwide thing and helped break a record for the most people playing some game similar to soccer at one time. It was pretty cool. 😀

@sleepwalkingmk Yes, I do that somewhat… it’s more the accent for me, though, rather than actually acting like them. Reading or listening to anyone with accents… I frequently slip into a British accent, occasionally Scottish or Irish, and when we go to Arkansas to visit relatives, it doesn’t take long before I’m slipping into a southern…[Read more]

Wait, while we’re on the topic of dreams (forgive me if this has already been asked and I missed it) do you really have somnambulism @sleepwalkingmk? I don’t, but I do have somniloquy. My brother has occasional somnambulism though; usually he just gets up and feeds the fish. X)

@sleepwalkingmk So glad to have you join our crazy conversation! 😀 😀 😀
That dream sounds so crazy! I think my mind would explode. 😉
I think @anne-of-lothlorien is an ENFP; she generally only has internet access on Mondays though. She’ll probably get on here and die laughing before she can respond to anything. 😛 😀

@kate-flournoy I thought you might. 😉
And I think you’re right about the T vs F thing; I can’t remember what it was last time I scored ENTJ (the last couple of times I’ve scored ENFJ-A?! Seriously, I was just getting it figured out and they threw another letter on? C’mon! *calms down* Can Professor Kateses gives us an explanationses, please?),…[Read more]

@Dragon-Snapper well, you might say it’s become a hobby of mine. My type (INFP) is really into psychology and stuff, and we love people and figuring out what makes them tick, so it came naturally to me, I guess. 😀

@corissa-maiden-of-praise I’m doubting I’m actually that extroverted, like what @kate-flournoy said. I know for a fact that I can be very introverted. I guess what I’m mainly getting at is that not much of what an ENFJ is pertains to me. And I’ll admit I didn’t answer all the questions to their full potential. 😀 *guilty smile*
Talking to things…[Read more]

@Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise *pounces on offer with squeal of glee* YES!!!
*ahem* The INTJ. As Introverts, they are more reserved than otherwise, and as iNtuitives they deal in truths and concepts rather than facts and formulas, making them more visionary than practical. As Thinkers they are detached and logical; less people-oriented and more in…[Read more]

*shudder* I would NOT like to be an INTJ full time, no offense. XD
So tell us, @jess, @hope, what is it like to be an INTJ full time? We’s is curious abouts your mindses, preciousss. What quirks or other differences do you think are unique to your personality type?
What about you, @kate-flournoy? Even if you aren’t one, you’ve studied the types…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy Okay, thanks for clearing that up.
I think the test can be different depending on what day you take it too. Some days we have more introvert tendencies than others. Normally I score about 75/25 towards extrovert (give or take a few), but one day I only scored 54/46, so I was barely extrovert. 😛 It can be confusing (and it’s even…[Read more]
