@I-J-Anderson Yep, Kate and I are sisters. 🙂
Wow… Which animals were your favorite?
Yeah, Frodo most certainly wouldn’t have made it without Sam. He knew it, too.
Oh I know, Richard Armitage is a really good actor. I haven’t seen him as Gisborne (but I bet he’s awesome), but I’ve seen him in the BBC miniseries North and South. Seen…[Read more]

@bluejay Ahh; this is fantastic. One of my favorite books. Probably don’t have time to join you all in this, but in the context of what makes the book so Austen-esque, I think that that character complexity, moral depth, understated wit, and clever social satire all play into what made Austen such a great author, and what makes Pride and Prejudice…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien a ‘jerk’? Excuse me? 😛 Um, Peter was the jerk? I actually liked Caspian better in PC than VotDT, though Edmund was the best in PC. Fight me. XD
Ha… well, so long as it doesn’t become an obsession I don’t think it’s wrong to appreciate if someone looks nice, though I never really thought about it… or him… I mean, I like…[Read more] -

@i-j-anderson Welcome! I enjoy watercolor too, though I paint mainly landscapes. When I get my paints out, which isn’t often now… What kind of short stories do you write? Contemporary? Fantasy?

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I like them both. I guess I may be strange that way, but unless something is bad, I can generally enjoy both the movie and the book in different ways. They act less like children in the movie, and their goal is more important. I wasn’t sure about the movie the first time I saw it, but I’ve grown to like it. And I like the book.…[Read more]

(@bluejay I had to start another message. I think the first one got too long, and I’m not able to reply) That sounds great! I’d love to hear how it turns out.
I’ve always wanted to donate my hair! Sadly, I don’t think that will ever be an option for me… my hair grows SO slow. It’d take years before it was long enough to be worth donating. I…[Read more]-
@faithdk Haha. I think all you have to do it scroll back up and you’ll find the reply button. It will put it at the end of the conversation. My hair use to be really slow growing, but I’ve been on supplements and it is slightly faster. I would probably donate it first and then when it is slightly longer get layers.
-
@bluejay Ah, okay. I don’t know why I didn’t see it… *trails off into deep thought* Anyway, that’s cool. Maybe I’ll have to look into supplements then -see if they’ll work for me. 😉
-
@faithdk Sorry, I had to go out, so I couldn’t reply.
Yeah, they might work. Let me ask you a quick few questions, but you don’t have to answer them if you don’t want to.
1. Do you feel tired a lot?
2. Do you bruise easily?
3. Is sleeping a problem?
4. Do you prefer reading a book or running around?
*the doctor sits back and smiles at you*-
Hmm… Well I’ll gladly answer your questions, Doctor @bluejay
1. Not overly so.
2. I suspect I bruise normally. I don’t have many bruises, so maybe that will answer your question.
3. Yes, it can be at times. I’d say there are about four or so days out of the week that I don’t get much sleep at all.
4. Oh, I most definitely prefer reading a…[Read more]-
Hmm *peers over glass rims* I wouldn’t be surprised if you have an iron deficiency. Sleeping was a big problem for me and I would much rather curl up on the couch with a book. I just didn’t have the energy to get through the day if I did too much. So I went on supplements to fix it and I notice my hair grew much faster. (Which is really nice) @faithdk
-
I applaud you, docter. Your analysis was spot on! 😉 I do, indeed, have an iron deficiency. In fact, when I was younger, I was very sick (not solely because of the iron deficiency, but it was a factor), and was put on many medications for two years. After no improvement, and my condition worsening, my parents decided to take me off of them and…[Read more]

*tries to look like she knew what she was doing* —— *fails* Wow! Sounds kinda bad. I was pretty sick too as a kid. If someone caught a cold, I vomited. Not pleasant. Stress cause vomiting for me too and when you do theatre which can be extremely stressful it is not something you want. So I decided I had had enough. We went natural straight…[Read more]

Ah, the age old discussion…
I, personally, do not mind reading occasional swearing or ‘bad language’ so long as it is significant in it’s use and does not take God’s name in vain. There are a few times, I believe, that it is okay to use harsh words in a story, but only certain ones. As @warrioroftherealm has stated before, the D-word is not…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien, hello there! 🙂 I have a blog, but it is fairly new (started earlier this year) and, unfortunately, doesn’t have much content on it. It mostly consists of book reviews and short articles about random topics. I have a few pictures of my artwork too, and one short story, but I should warn you if you decide to read it: it was…[Read more]

@anne-of-lothlorien The BBC version of the movie? Is that the one that was ruined? Or a different one? I know of three versions; one even older than the BBC. The books good though. Different ending to the BBC Pride and Prejudice.
Why was it ruined for you? -

@anne-of-lothlorien I haven’t seen the animated one. Well, at least I haven’t seen all of it. I was shocked when his parents died. I didn’t realize that would happen. Cause in the old one, his mother is still alive. (Well, at least I thought it was his mother, maybe it wasn’t) Anyway I didn’t start crying until he had to make that choose. Pete was…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien I really didn’t care for the movie. Eustace and Reepicheep were brilliant, but otherwise I really couldn’t get over how much cheaper it was than the book. I know some can separate the two stories and enjoy them for their own sakes, and more power to them— but I just really did not care for the movie. 😛 I didn’t like any of…[Read more]
