Yikes, I’m late.
Bad llama.
Anyways.
Hi, Addie! Welcome to KP! It’s great to have you here!
Word of warning in case you haven’t been warned. Watch out for dragons. 😛 -

@EpicAddie2 *gasps* You’ve never participated? Do you live in the U.S.? If so, you can participate!!! And you should!!! You might already know this, but…. this is how BB works:
-You sign up
-You get a discovery journal and a small stack of memory verses to memorize
-From June 5 until 8 weeks later, (whenever that is!) you go through the…[Read more] -

Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

@EpicAddie2 Thanks! God just all of a sudden blessed me with a really nice camera recently (I had a Nikon D3100 before that was ok but not good.) I’ve used it a lot and LOVE it, and Daeus made a video with it. He’s almost as happy about me getting it as I was myself about getting it! I think I only have a couple pictures on my site from the new…[Read more]

@daeus When you mentioned the hills, I did think of Tolkien too. He does linger on his descriptions.
*hides in dragon hoard*
I will not tell anyone. 😛 -
Snapper replied to the topic Character Art Exchange in the forum Art 9 years, 1 month ago
@leumeister … I suppose that would make a difference.

@daeus Haha! Nice. 😛
You have quite a nice British accent, may I say.And geography. How long do they have to linger on the way that the mountains reach into the sky? 😀

@perfectfifths I will answer to your call and draw Jem.
@leumeister I have a few villains that sound like Jansen, I’ll draw him. 😀 -

@GracieGirl awesome. 😉
For those of you who have been praying about my jaw… everything seems to be going okay. We’ve had some lingering complications with the muscles (they got pretty badly inflamed, apparently) and with the vertebrae at the base of my skull, but things are getting straightened out and it doesn’t look like there should be any…[Read more]

@Northerner Well cool. (And I believe you, because my ten-year-old brother is an INTP and I know how practical they are. XD)
@Joy Hey and welcome to the bestistest place on the Internet! You could make yourself an individual introductory topic; that way everyone can get a better chance at seeing it and meeting you. 😉
I love period dramas and…[Read more] -

I, and a few others here, are planning on attending this Indana Faith and Writing Conference in October. 🙂
And if Realm Makers is in PA next year, I am so going to try and go. I’ve been watching it for years, but Nevada was a bit far…

@northerner I would, but I already have more going on than I actually have time for. Besides which, I’m also entering the contest (If I get time to sit down and write). 🙁

@EpicAddie2 That makes sense; one of the most helpful books I’ve read on that topic is 12 Editors Tackle the 12 Fatal Flaws of Fiction Writing by C.S. Laskin (actually did a review of it here: https://kingdompen.org/kp-book-review-5-editors-tackle-the-12-fatal-flaws-of-fiction-writing-by-c-s-lakin-et-al/) If you get the chance to read it, it should…[Read more]

@SeekJustice The one YA book I’ve read with an older protagonist is Wayne Thomas Batson’s Sword in the Stars. Haven’t seen it done anywhere else, and have likewise read that you shouldn’t have YA protagonists much above college age. That being said, it’s also good for a protagonist to be older than the reader, since apparently younger readers find…[Read more]
