Yes! That helps a lot! This reads like a ballad that a bard would sing in a tavern. 😀 I love it!

@kate-flournoy Very punny. ;D But yeah. Darn. I agree. *continues to think*
@bluejay Ooooo. I like Sticky Notes. 😀 What if I called it “Staccato” and then had the metaphorical explanation of writing notes that stand out/are different? Or something with staccato? Or is it reaching again? xD

@daeus “Hey, ya know KPrs looks a lot like keepers. Maybe we could be the KPrs of the realm of the pen. Sounds like an order of warrior monks. We could all wear hoodies and swords and walk around saying “grace, peace, and high word counts to you my brother”.” All I’m gonna say is this is beautiful and it should be a thing. xD
Also just want to…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy LOL! Yeah, I kinda figured as much.
Ooooooooo. I really like “Noteworthy Musings.” Definitely getting closer. 😀 It has a pun. I am a huge proponent of puns. xD

@kate-flournoy Great minds post at the same time? xD It still rhymes. 😀
Probably! Give it a go and then read it out loud. If it flows out loud, usually it flows in the brain. Your family may judge you a little, but it works. xD

First off, kudos for writing such a long poem! I am a huge fan of long poems. It’s also an accomplishment.
Thoughts: The lines are kind of long, so it’s hard for me to get everything out of each line. I’d also say try and break it up a little more stanza wise. I think the biggest thing you have to conquer in long poems is making them seem less…[Read more]

@zoe-wingfeather Awwww! Thanks, girl! I’ll post it here as soon as I make it. 😀
@writefury 😀 Gotta stick them poetic musings somewhere. ;D I like the alliteration with that one.
What about “Writing My Themesong” or something and I could make a connection to the “notes” on a piece of music, ‘cuz I like music too. xD Or is that too much of a reach?

Okay, folks, so I’m attempting to create a blog and I’m struggling pretty hardcore currently with coming up with a title.
Here’s the basic premise: I’m planning on it kinda being a slice-of-life kind of blog where I post random philosophical ramblings or whatever else happens to come to mind. I love unruled index cards; as of right now, I use…[Read more]

I agree with Kate! 🙂 Sometimes fewer topics is better; you can make more as you get more participation, but since you’re going for bolstering numbers, the broader the topic the more likely someone will have something to say relating to it. 🙂
If there’s anything else I can do to help, just let me know!

@sarah-h, Probably the best way to do that without paying for Google promoting and whatnot is to fill up the art forum. 🙂 We can also share the word on social media. Currently, we don’t have any cool graphics, but since you brought it up, if you want to try your hand at one, I can at least publish it on Facebook. ;D No pressure–just an idea!

I second Daeus. Or make the illustration of the murder more like the one from Disney Robin Hood with Clucky and the rabbits and Maid Marian. 🙂 An “Ohhhhh, ya got meh” kinda thing.

Love this! I feel like it could be used in Vacation Bible School or something of the like 🙂 it has a really unique tone and simplicity to it that I really liked! Great job ;D

Totally got the typewriter feels the first time I read the poem! It’s a really interesting poem, and it almost has a haunting kind of rhythm to it. Good job!
