      theyre really good

I read Heartless by Marissa Meyers first and I loved it so my friend recommended the lunar chronicles

and now I own the whole series and the graphic novel spin off series AND the coloring book

(Needless to say I enjoyed the books)

        @keilah-h
        thanks

and in the first on there’s Winter

she’s literally known as the most beautiful girl on the moon

she’s also very bubbly and a little socially awkward

and the guard she mentions is her best friend (who she’s in love with) Jacin

and then in the second fic there’s Carswell Thorne but everyone calls him Thorne

and he’s basically Flynn rider and Pietro Maximoff combined

and the short girl mentioned is Cress and she’s quiet, shy, and really good with computers and her and Thorne are together

They’re all from the lunar Chronicles

        (sorry for the rant)

          Chapter 1

          Crystal

“Blackjack, I win once again.” Clint leaned back in his seat, a smirk crossing his lips. I looked at him with an annoyed scowl, setting my three cards down, a jack, a ten, and a three. My luck with card drawing was about my luck with everything else, and Clint had been draining both mine and Sam’s chips.

“When I figure out how you’re cheating, I’m tossing you off of the ship.” Sam tossed his cards on the table, he had been way under.

“One, if I did cheat you would never find any evidence, and two stop being such a bad sport.” Clint’s eyes were directed to me next, giving a more flirty grin. “Although maybe we should play a different game since you clearly don’t have the luck of the draw,”

“Or she could play dealer,” Sam added. “Since the one right now is suspect.” he eyed Clint.

I was feeling bored of cards, maybe because I was losing so badly, or just because my interest in anything nowadays only lasted an hour tops.

I felt bad knowing how hard everyone tried to include me in things even though my attitude had been nothing short of terrible. Out of everyone here, I was the only one who had shown clear signs of not wanting to be here, especially when I literally ran away.

In the end, I was here, but only to take down Hydra, making friends was last on my list, they never lasted in my life.

“I’m good, I think I’m going to go find something else to do.” I had begun to feel like Jacin, and that made me wonder if one of the reasons he acted so cold wasn’t just for me and Winter’s protection but also for his own.

If you didn’t love anyone, you could never feel the pain of losing them.

“Are you sure? We can even play goldfish.” there was no flirt in Clint’s tone, only sincerity.

I smiled at him and shook my head. “Thank you, but I’m not really in the mood for anything.”

“That doesn’t sound familiar,” I turned to see Tony enter the room, he was carrying a port screen, and said it dryly not even looking at me.

The words stung a little, but not enough to make me change my mind. I left that compartment of the ship, not bothering to care what Stark was looking at on his holograph screen, and made my way to my cabin, but stopped on the way when I heard the faint essence of music.

I followed it all the way to the ship’s back room, where full glass walls showed what we were leaving behind.

An old CD player played second-era music that I couldn’t recognize, and Steve and Natasha stood center-stage, gazing into each others’ eyes as they danced around the room.

I leaned against the door entrance, out of sight of them, allowing myself to mope in peace.

I was probably there for a good five minutes, failing to hear whatever the couple was whispering about until finally someone else approached.

          “Are you quite alright?”

I turned to see Loki, the only person who knew me before joining the Avengers crew, and even then he had been a distant gazer.

“I’m fine, just watching a sitcom,”

He gave a small smile to the joke, it wasn’t deserving of anything more. He took a leaning stance on the wall across from me, his green eyes reading me like a magazine.

“So is it your parents or Winter and Jacin that these two are reminding you of?” He asked, both concerned and abrupt.

I shook my head. “Neither.” I continued to watch, wishing I was close enough to hear what they were whispering. “They remind me of myself.” my words came out faint, I doubted Loki could even hear them.

They did truly resurface memories, although they acted a little older than we did even though they were the same age, I couldn’t imagine him ever waltzing like this. No, when we danced it was always crazy and energetic dancing and I would trip or he would and then we would lie on the floor while the music continued to play.

It was always like that, he taught me to laugh at life’s downs and how to be stubborn when needed, and I had hoped that when he was taken he would continue to be stubborn. That he would continue to fight with that arrogant smile.

          Chapter 2

          Wanda

“That’s it, all hope is lost,” Pietro stated, banging his head against the shiny white wall of their cell.

“Well you didn’t last long,” I deadpanned, sitting crist-crossed applesauce on my cot. I couldn’t help but stare at my brother the whole time we had been here, he was so different, so grown up, well mostly. His mischievous smirks and flirty sentences continued and maybe had gotten worse.

“Oh trust me you would be hopeless too if you knew who we were dealing with.” He looked at me with wide eyes, his hair a wreck. “This could’ve been my future mother-in-law, and she nuts.” At the moment Pietro was the one who looked a little nutty.

“You really think it would’ve gone that far?” The question caught him off guard and he sighed as he took a seat beside me.

“I do.” His eyes glowed like they were on far memories. “I loved her.” He said through a wide smile.

A moment of silence took place and I remembered how much I loved being with my brother, and how I always felt so comfortable with him, even in silence.

He looked at me, shuffling his hands with a bit of nervousness. “What about you? Did you see marriage in your future with that Vision guy?” Pietro said his name with a hint of disgust and annoyance but I ignored it.

“I did,” the silence came back and I reached for his hand, squeezing it. “We’ll be alright, not all hope is lost.”

          Yelena

I placed my steps carefully and quietly, tightening my grip around my bag till my knuckles were white. This had gone even smoother than expected which only made me more nervous.

Everything had gone according to plan, sneaking into the American base, finding the rampion, and hitching a ride to Luna, the last place I had wanted to be, but also the place I needed to be.

          I refused to die uselessly.

Stepping off the ship, I found the loading dock more empty than I ever expected.

Something had happened, but it was unclear what.

“Going somewhere?” I almost snapped my neck to see who was talking. And there he was, predictable as ever, Jacin stood with his arms crossed and a scowl painted on his face.

My sigh was loud and clearly annoyed sounding and came with a raised eyebrow. “I expected you to be dead by now.”

          “The thought was mutual.”

“I’d love to see someone try,” I smirked, a regular human on earth killing me seemed unlikely and almost impossible, but that could just be my ego talking. “Unless you want to…?”

“Maybe, since I told you to run.” He narrowed his eyes. “And in case you didn’t know, that meant away from here too.”

“Must have missed that.” I turned my back to him and started walking away, but with only two stupid strides of his long legs, he was right in front of me.

          Ugh, I hated being short.

“So Ace what’s your plan from here?”

“Well, that depends on whether you’re going to turn me into your oh-so-precious queen,” I stated, ignoring the stupid nickname that he said with all the sarcasm in the world.

Now he had a playful smile. “Maybe I will, but I have a feeling she’d be too lacking in punishment.”

my eyes narrowed. “You know something…” I was being such an idiot, of course something was different, normal guard Jacin would never talk this much.

Jacin slowed his walk until he was walking right beside her. “Levanna’s dead.” He said with little expression.

I almost fell on my face, tripping over my feet. Luckily Jacin grabbed my jacket sleeve and pulled me back up to level position.

          “What?!”

“Linh Cinder or Selena is queen now, there was a whole news story about it.” Still no expression.

I scoffed. “Yeah well if I happen to have any sort of technology maybe I’d know that.” we walked a few more steps until I stopped and took a position in front of him.

We locked eyes and Jacin let his facial expression slip to show guilt and irritation. His fists tightened and he mumbled. “We never found him,”

I hardly heard it, but I did, and the happiness left me. “What-” I swallowed. “And the girls?”

“I’m sorry,”  Was all he managed, and it was barely a whisper.

I took a second to process the information, and then with a new yet mostly fake determination I lifted my chin high. “Well, then I’ll have to find them, and stop him.”

          “They’ll kill you.”

I tilted my head. “Thanks for the encouragement.” I faced the exit and began walking again. “But I’ve never had a true purpose so I might as well die doing this than something else.”

“That’s some stupid thinking, Ace.” Jacin was now walking beside me, his posture like the guard he was. “Who plans their mission as a suicide mission?”

“A realist, which I thought you were.”

“Yeah I’m a realist, but I always go in with the hope I’ll live.”

“Alright geniues then what’s your plan?”

          “I’ll help.”

          I slowed my steps. “Why?”

“Because I like to sleep at night,”

His words hit me hard, cause I hadn’t been able to sleep since forever, and there was a whole group of kids who couldn’t either.

I stopped in front of him. “Fine,” I put my hand out. “Stop Thaumaturge Dreykov at all costs?”

“My loyalty is to the princess and to Cress Darnel first, but at all other costs, I will.” He took my hand and shook it, and that’s when I noticed that he never seemed to make a laughing matter of something important, which was comforting when it came to my trust.

I raised an eyebrow. “Technically she’s not a princess anymore.”

“And technically I’m not loyal to you, so I’d stop talking if I were you.”

We went back to walking, and I smirked to myself. “Alright,” irritating Jacin came with its own fun.

and here is Carswell Thorne meeting Steve and Sam… this may be a scene for a whole fanfiction coming soon

“Now I know why this ship seemed familiar,” Steve groaned, he and Sam eyeing Carswell Thorne with obvious annoyance.

“Captain America! And good old Uncle Sam! How you’ve been?” Thorne gave his classic smile as he walked over to them.

“Well currently I’m on a stolen ship with a military deserter, so not that well,” Steve stated matter of factly.

Thorne let out a fake-sounding chuckle and put a hand on each of their shoulders. “Well good news guys but this ship is now rightfully mine, given to me by the American army.”

“Ah, man no! It took me a year just to get my final check from them and they give you this ship?!” Sam gave pity-worthy glances to both of the soldiers.

            “Well, what can I say?-”

“Thorne please don’t,” The shorter girl who was good with computers cut in from behind the table, giving a nervous smile to all of them.

“-The things you get when you’re a hero for people on earth and on the moon!” he said while in a superhero-like pose.

Chin high, face in stoic form, and his chest out in a proud manner.

“Yeah well last time I checked, you’re still only a cadet.” Steve only gave a small smirk, it was very humble of him since that was Thorne’s biggest weakness.

“On here I’m Captain,” Thorne said firmly, although it didn’t sound very convincing since his body deflated from the pose.

“I’m still taking orders from him.” Sam pointed at Steve and with that, Thorne walked away muttering.

Okay so basically I’m doing one shots of tlc characters meeting marvel characters just because why not?

and also because I still stand by the strong similarities of characters

this one is Winter & everyone’s favorite

              Bucky Barnes 🥳🥳

so yeah basically know that Winter is the sweetest character ever

and also a little crazy (at least for her age cause she’s like seventeen)

Winter’s gaze fell to a scar on Bucky’s arm, and to him, it felt unnerving to be inspected by a girl so miraculously beautiful and also so very crazy.

“Where did it come from?” She asked with a light voice.

He took a sip of his water and then said nonchalantly. “From refusing to be a puppet.”

“Then that’s a very good scar.” Winter than looked off into the distance like she was searching for something, but Bucky had no clue what. “I have a few too,”

Bucky looked at her and the three scars that went down her cheek, almost looking like tears. They were very pale compared to her dark skin, but it didn’t take from her beauty and perhaps they added to it.

He felt himself tense up, the idea of her getting those scars making him sympathetic and angry. She might have been crazy but she also seemed kind and innocent, too innocent to get scars like those.

              To get scars like his.

“Next time someone tries to give you more, tell me.” He said it without making eye contact, but he flexed his metal hand to make the point clear.

Winter gave a small laugh. “Believe it or not you aren’t the first person to promise my protection.” Then she smiled, the kind of smile that wasn’t for him or anything in this room but for someone else. “But I already have a very good guard.”

They continued to chat for a few more minutes, and then she got up and smiled. “It was very nice meeting you metal armed man,”

just going to leave this here

                  Ferentari district of Bucharest, Romania

The streets were crowded with people bustling around, a poor city full of life and she could feel it even through the cold wind that sent shivers down her thin limbs. Some looked mad but others seemed rather happy, and that made her smile, after all, if they could be cheery with how little they had then surely she could be too.

“We have it pretty good,” She thought out loud. “We have money and food, and friends.”

Carter had his arm around her shoulder and he guided her through a passing group of people. “We have a little money and sooner or later we won’t have any, which will also end our food supply, and we have one friend who happens to be a trainer killer.”

“Wow way to look at the negative,” Tessa replied with a frown. Carter was a great guy, and he happened to be her best friend and love of her life, but he was also a realist so he struggled with positivity.

Which is understandable when you’ve seen what he has seen.

“Thank you,” He faked a proud smile and squeezed her shoulder. He was also very snarky and was good at pretending to like everyone, despite his true hatred of humanity, this was why he was so good at undercover missions and how she fell for him.

They continued to walk for a bit until they found a newsstand, where an old man who was not happy sat, and a TV playing the biggest new station in Romania.

The news was usually boring to her but this had something to do with the famous Avengers, which piqued her interest.

“Well, no official arrest has been asked of Wanda Maximoff it is being highly discussed after the explosion.”

The two friends’ eyes were glued to the TV, the new station switching between clips of the accident. A few of them showed a man going up in the explosion.

                  “Carter!” Tessa gasped.

Carter didn’t move, didn’t say anything, and didn’t look at her. He simply watched the TV like it was the only thing worth looking at. Which she would’ve found offending except for this scenario since the guy going up in flames was Rumlow, his dad.

We bought a newspaper and Carter didn’t say anything the whole walk back, and when we got to the apartment he started doing the dishes, being as mute as mime.

“You know I heard plums are good for memory loss, we should buy some,” Tessa suggested, she and Bucky sitting at the small dining table.

Tessa had a strong hatred of reading, but for some reason, Carter and Bucky could both

read newspapers just fine. This was what Bucky was doing right now, he always read the headlines first and then checked the sports section, but Carter read the sports section first and then read the headlines.

It was good to know where their priorities were.

“Great so I could remember Christmas.”  He said it with no tone of voice but he was smiling to himself.

Bucky was serious… most of the time, but he had a kidding side that he brought out around her and Carter.

She scowled. “Fine keep living not knowing who you are, what do I care?” she was only teasing, of course, the truth was she did care, and if he didn’t buy plums then she would.

Tessa went back to reading her tabloid (the only thing she could read) while Carter set the washed dishes on the towel with a strong amount of force, luckily they were plastic.

All of them technically had their own apartment but two of them were just a room with a bed while Bucky’s had a kitchen so they all spent their time there. And chores were constantly dished out, and while it wasn’t his day to wash, no one was going to stop him either.

Bucky looked at her from the paper. “What’s with him?”

It was a small apartment so Carter was only a few feet away.

Tessa grabbed a notepad and wrote- “Rumlow dead. Carter angry.”  and slid it over to Bucky.

He read it, wrote something, and gave it back to her.

                  He wrote, “How?”.

So she wrote “Explosion, almost killed Cap.” and then handed it to him watching his eyebrows raise.

“You guys can stop writing about me.” They both looked up to see Carter hovering over them. “Rumlow’s dead, Cap’s alive, and I’m fine.”

Tessa stood up. “How can you be fine? Your dad is dead.”

Tessa didn’t have parents, they died when she was a baby and she had lived in a group home her whole childhood, but she knew a little bit about the relationship between parent and child and she knew it was a tie that was unbreakable, no matter how rough the relationship.

“Yeah my Dad, remember him? What he did to you-” He looked at Bucky. “Or what he did to you?”

Tessa felt goosebumps go around her arms, of course, she did, how could she forget his want to use her powers for his own will? But that didn’t change the argument.

                  “Carter-”

Carter scoffed, cutting Bucky off. “What?! You want to host a funeral, we’ll all say a few things, pretend like we all had good feelings about him? Cause I know I didn’t.” He took a breath. “The only thing I’m sad about is that I didn’t get to do it myself.”

Tessa blinked. “You don’t mean that you can’t mean that, no kid can say that.” she’d known Carter to get angry, but never to say something as strong as that, and to mean it.

“Well, I do.” Carter stormed out of the apartment and Tessa got ready to chase him but Bucky grabbed her arm.

“Don’t, he needs some space.” she knew he was right, but she hated to see Carter like this.

                  ~*~

That evening there was a knock on Tessa’s door. She set down her magazine and slipped on a sweatshirt (a touristy one from Washington D.C) then opened the door.

Carter stood there, whole body shaking, his face showing pure pain.

“Carter…” She wrapped her arms around him and she suddenly realized that he was crying. Carter never cried, not many guys did, and she wasn’t sure what to do. So Tessa did what she found most polite, to ignore the crying and to hug him like a best friend, cause he was her best friend and he’d do the same any day.

After a few minutes, he left the embrace and looked at her. “I miss him Tess, and I hate myself for it.” He tried to slow his breathing and then looked down. “He was such a terrible person… and I should hate him.”

“But he’s your dad, no one can truly hate their Dad.”

“I’m not sure that’s true, but thanks.” Carter smiled at her. “I think you’re too good for this world Tess, and for me.”

“Well, that’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” She smirked. “But it’s the thought that counts.”

He laughed, it was a short moment of joy, but it was enough to warm her. “Any chance you’re up for a late-night ice cream talk?”

Late-night ice cream talks were something they had been doing since the first week they meant, they’d go get ice cream or use what they had and talk about whatever was troubling them while eating way too much ice cream. It worked well cause no one could be that sad while eating ice cream.

                  Tessa smiled. “Sure,”

@freed_and_redeemed @keilah-h (yes I want to see your fanfic) @anyone else

okay guys I have the first chapter and prologue of my descendants fanfic which takes place after the third movie

honestly since it’s Disney channel if you haven’t seen it you can catch on kind of quick

but Auradon is where all the heroes of Disney movies live with all their kids and the lost aisles is where the Disney villains and their kids live

Belle and beast are the king and queen of auradon

(also the first chapter might have typos, I did a quick edit but well sometimes I go blind)

                        Prologue

It was a known law throughout the land of Auradon that breaking and entering was illegal, and since no heroes ever broke the rules, Barrett knew the girl climbing out his bedroom window was not a normal Auradon kid.

                        “What are you doing?”

The girl turned in shock and fell onto his marble flooring, her blond hair cascading to one side and covering her face.

He took a few steps closer, careful not to scare her again. “Are you okay?! I’m so sorry.”

She grimaced while spitting out a piece of hair. “Are you apologizing to the girl who tried to break into your room?” She sat up and narrowed her eyes.

“Well, I didn’t want you to get hurt,” Barrett stated innocently. His eyes then shifted to the brown sack that lay next to her, spilling out a few rings and buttons that he knew to be his. “Were you robbing me?”

“And doing a terrible job at it as I might point out.”

“Well, you didn’t steal anything of value.”

She jumped to her feet, her face turning a bright red. “I stole everything of value in this room! Thank you very much!”

“No, you didn’t, at least they don’t have any value to me.”

“Well that’s something completely different, and as my dad says emotions aren’t worth a penny”

                        “Who’s your Dad?”

The girl smirked and hopped onto his toy chest. “Captain Hook! The greatest pirate throughout the land.”

Barrett tilted his head a little. “Your dad is Captain Hook?”

“Sure is, and I hope to be just like him,” She placed a hand on her neck, where a brown strapped necklace hung. On it was a small hook, the leather strap was worn and the hook was a little scratched yet it was clearly valuable to her.

“I hope to be like my Dad too!”

“King Adams? Yeah, he’s alright I guess.” She took a seat on his chest and looked at him. “I’m sorry I chose you to rob, I just knew you were younger and had valuable items, but really it’s nothing personal.”

“I didn’t take it personally, I just don’t get why you would steal.”

She let out a large sigh. “Because emotions are penniless and my Dad wants treasure.”

                        “Oh,”

“It’s fine, but I guess I’ll bring home treasure another time, just please don’t tell… Barrett?”

He nodded yes. “What’s your name?”

“Calista Jane, but my brother calls me CJ.”

                        “I like that.”

                        “Thanks.”

They looked at each other in complete silence for a while, CJ kicking her legs against the chest as she sat there.

Finally, Barrett came up with an idea.

“Say we’re having chocolate strawberries tonight for dessert and I bet the fountain is right now in the kitchen, we could sneak down there and have some!”

CJ pulled her hair back as she went to her feet, putting her hand on her belt where a real sword would be but there was only a wooden one. “So we have to sneak down there and not get caught? Sounds fun!”

Barrett led the way from his room down to the hallway and then down the cut-across stairs that led right to the pantry.

The clanging of silver pots, the closing of teacup cabinets, and a few yelling of orders from Mrs Potts who took her cooking very seriously, could be heard. CJ smirked and Barrett leaned against a drawer almost knocking over a glass fruit bowl but CJ caught it right before it hit the ground.

“I’ll distract Mrs. Potts if you dip some strawberries.” Barrett directed.

CJ put her hand up. “Hold up, who put you in charge?”

                        “Why does it matter?”

                        She scowled but nodded.

“Three, two, one, go.” Barrett opened the pantry door and walked out into the kitchen, almost running into Chip who was balancing a stack of plates.

“Oh hello lad, can I help you?” Mrs. Potts asked in her kind almost grandmother kind of way.

“Yeah, I was wondering what we’re having for dinner tonight?”

                        ~*~

CJ heard him start talking and figured it was time to go. She walked on the soles of her feet and crept into the other section of the kitchen, this part out of vision from where Mrs. Potts was.

Sure enough, the chocolate fountain stood on a small podium, surrounded by a few glass bowls of marshmallows and strawberries.

She didn’t know which one Barrett would prefer so she dipped few a of both and snuck through an open corridor. Eventually, she found her way back to his room and took a seat on a fancy red rug that was in front of his bed. His room was so much bigger than her run-down ship home, where she had only a bed to call her own. She was a bit jealous of the room but also preferred being on the sea.

Just as she was stuffing a chocolate marshmallow in her mouth Barrett came through with a proud grin. “We did it!”

He took a seat next to her and ate a strawberry.

She peered at him. “I thought people like you didn’t steal.”

“We didn’t steal, Mrs. Potts said we could have some.”

CJ raised her eyebrows. “Then why did we sneak in?!”

He looked at her with a small smile that looked half nervous and half confident. “Cause I knew you would enjoy it.”

She felt a sudden rush of warmth in her but she pushed it away quickly. “It was sort of fun.”

“Good, ’cause tomorrow she’s making cookies and those might be a little bit harder to get without her noticing.”

“Or we could go fishing down at the enchanted lake! I’m really good at that.”

“Okay!” Barrett looked beyond excited and CJ found that she was too. And then the words that her father and brother spoke came back into her mind.

“Just to be clear though, we’re not friends.” Barrett’s face fell a little and she felt a little bad, but he nodded anyway. She grabbed another strawberry for the road and then walked over to the window. “I have to go but I’ll come back tomorrow morning.” right before she left she looked back and gave a confident smile.

“People like us don’t have friends, but we do have first mates, and those are a captain’s closest partner, you could be my first mate if you want.”

“Really? I’ll do that, but does that make me an actual pirate?”

“It sure does.” With that she jumped onto the tree branch and climbed down the tree with only a few incidents, she was getting better at it.

The next morning when she arrived at the tree Barrett stuck his head out the window and smiled. “Ahoy captain!” He yelled.

                        She smiled. “Ahoy matey!”

                        Chapter 1

                        7 years later

“CJ! CJ! Where are you?!” Barrett came running down the docks, his smile getting bigger every second.

He had looked almost everywhere else on the aisles before checking her actual home, and anyone who knew CJ knew why this was.

Ever since he could remember she had had a rocky relationship with her Dad, the one and only Captain Hook. it was a shame since when she was younger Barrett only heard stories about how great he was now she would rather sleep at Urula’s seafood restaurant than stay at her actual home.

The door to Captain Hook’s boat house slammed closed, and a metal sign that read “Bait for sale, no returns!” hit the deck with a thud.

The boat was just a rusty old steamboat instead of the big pirate ship that Hook used to have and still brags about to this day.

CJ was wearing a frown, which only grew when she saw his excitement. “And don’t come back without something of value!” Hook yelled from the boat.

                        “That scowl from your dad?”

“Who else?” She asked dryly. She crossed her arms and walked towards him with a smirk. “So what’s got the hop in your step?”

Her eyes still read sad and he was nervous to venture into the topic, yet he hoped that maybe this news would cheer her up a little.

                        “They broke down the barrier.”

They were finally getting out of this joint.

For about a second, she looked truly shocked but then put back on her usual stoic look. “You mean it?” She asked with no emotion, yet he knew it came from a place of hope. “My brother really did it?”

“Well, I’m not sure your brother has all the credit, Uma-” Her eyebrows shot up, gesturing for him to get to the point, he grinned. “Ahoy captain, get the crew ’cause we have a land to explore.”

                        ~*~

Our crew was all of two other people, cousins Seren and Porter children of the two famous thieves that worked beside Flynn Rider. Porter was our navigator and could read the weather, any maps, and a compass from a fifteen feet distance. He was very charismatic and found enjoyment in almost all things, he was great at annoying his cousin. Seren was a master sword handler and had taught all of us a few tricks, she was as much of a loner as they come, preferring to stick to her own devices than to trust anyone else.

                        I

Their ship was the “Crown” the most beautiful falling-apart ship you could ever find.

While they might not have been there when Barrett and CJ meant they were still family and both played necessary parts for the ship to sail.

Barrett now stood on the deck watching the aisle get smaller and smaller, he was also enjoying the sight of CJ flirting.

“We need to be going a little bit more to the right” Porter instructed.

CJ stood at the helm and had her back to Porter. With a smirk, she grabbed onto the wooden handles and faked weakness. “I don’t think this thing works right.”

Porter walked over and placed his hands on hers. “Sure it does, it just only speaks pirate.”

“What does that mean?” CJ asked with a fake-sounding giggle.

“Here I’ll show you.” Porter coughed and his voice went more deep and rugged. “Now you listen here wheel! You either turn or it straight to the blank with you!”

Together they both managed to move the wheel, and Seren scoffed. “You two are pathetic.”

“Oh come on that was good!” CJ acted offended and then actually laughed. If she and Porter hadn’t known each other since they were seven maybe they would be convincing, but instead their “flirting” was as cheesy as the romance novels that Drizzela wrote.

Seren rolled her eyes and that’s when Barrett came up onto the top deck and smiled at her. “What’s wrong Seren? You don’t like a little romance?” he raised his one eyebrow, playfully pulling on a lock of her ginger hair.

“Don’t push your luck, boy.” She pushed past him to leave.

“Ouch rejected,” Porter laughed and Barrett didn’t take any offense since he had no true interest in Seren, he didn’t really have any interest in anyone.

“Don’t worry he’s used to it by now,” Barrett stuck his tongue out at CJ.

“I’m going to go check on that hole we patched up, I’d hate to sink before we see Auradon.” Porter started to leave, but Barrett stopped him. “Hurt her and I’ll make you walk the deck.” He whispered.

“What happened to loyalty between a crew?”

“My number one loyalty is her, and you know that.”

Porter just grinned as he walked past, and Barrett was tempted to punch him now, but he didn’t really think that he would break CJ’s heart.

“You’re worse than my brother,” CJ grumbled.

“Oh like your brother wouldn’t have said that or worse.” Barrett could just imagine Harry holding up one of his hooks and holding it a mere half-inch away from Porter’s neck, and saying something along the lines of.

“You think you’re clever? One finger on her and that’s the end.”

CJ didn’t look convinced but seemed to have something new on her mind. “Are you sure you want to go back?”

He could feel his whole body tense up, Barrett had been asking himself this since he heard the news. “I have to… don’t I?”

“I don’t know, maybe you do,” She took a few steps further, locking their foreheads. “Just promise you’ll remain you.”

“As long as there’s salt in the sea I’ll always be your first mate,” Barrett assured her.

                        Her eyes showed mischief. “Good.”

Whenever he forgot that she was the daughter of a pirate, she would get that little look in her eyes and he knew that only she had ones like those. Ones that knew no limits, and loved a great adventure in the sea more than the mermaids themselves.

okay for half of that all I could think about was Bucky and Steve in the beginning of captain America the first avenger lol

and then my mind was like

someday Leon and Riker kids will be friends and they’ll be buddies and I was in too happy of place to think about the trauma an abused child like riker would be feeling in this moment and then I WAS SAD AND I LOVE THE SCENE BY THE BUT I ALSO HATE IT BECAUSE IT MADE ME SAD

                          so yeah, that’s my reaction.

                              For one I love ittttttt
                              For two
I know the focus was on Steve and Bucky but I just can’t get over the fact that tony called it a waste of time to look after an orphan while Pietro and Wanda were right there!!!!!

                              Let me at him!!!

lol, I did love it though

I’m currently working in a Disney descendants fanfic
It’s been a nice break from a lot of the projects in my life
