@Kate-Flournoy THAT WILL NEVER CEASE TO BE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. MY HEART BLEEDS. *deals with it by going to weep in a corner*

Don’t think I take no joy in it, dear. But it’s the analytical joy of dissecting a really hard and convoluted puzzle and forcing it to do my bidding. *devious nod*

@graciegirl @emma-flournoy Yeah, Pixar definitely failed with that one. Plus, the whole thing with the boy acting like a dog was weird. I have a feeling Pixar’s upcoming film, Coco, isn’t going to be any better.
I like Cars too, but not as much as I like Toy Story, Monsters Inc, or Finding Nemo. I think Cars 2 could have been better, but it w…[Read more]

@Emma-Flournoy I DIDN’T SAY IT WAS TRASH. I SAID IT FEELS LIKE TRASH BECAUSE I KNOW IT TOO WELL. NOTHING IS NEW ANYMORE. THE PASSION I HAVE HAS BEEN FELT A HUNDRED TIMES OVER.
*scowls* Just… deal with it. Maybe I’ll adore it again in five years. Idk.
Oh has it only been two? That’s actually a relief to hear… 😛 -

@TheAcornMan The naval history is the BEST. Have you seen the A&E mini-series Horatio Hornblower? If that period nautical stuff is something you like you’d probably love that. It’s one of my favorite series.
Heh…the main one that comes to mind (and another more minor one) was a rip-off from the Viking Quest book series by Lois Walfrid…[Read more] -

@Ethryndal I think you’ve gotten the point by now: DO IT. 😛
I am actually in the middle of a break right now and, yes, it’s a little terrifying because, whoa, I haven’t taken a break from outlining in like, forever. XD But it is super freeing to start a new idea where you don’t have boundaries like you said. And I also am…[Read more]

@Mariposa Good luck with the article! <3
Eww, yeah, I didn’t care much for The Good Dinosaur either. XD The animation was amazing but the story….not so much?
Inside Out and Up are some of my favorites too! But I haven’t seen Up in soooo long. *cries* My list of movies I need to rewatch has grown exponentially this past week it seems. 😛 And I…[Read more] -

@Daeus Oh right, To Soar ON Eagles. It didn’t give me any Native American vibes till Kate mentioned it (thanks a lot Kate. XD) but I don’t think it’s the best one anyway. Yet.

@Daeus So far I agree with the general crowd. Those first three, eh…..not really feeling it.
However, The Man Who Came Back….
I hear an echo of that geeky squeal I give when something in a story is totally awesome.
(In comprehensible English: what Kate said. That’s more like it. I don’t think that one necessarily though.) 😛

And yes sometimes we do imitate Americans but are far more likely to imitate the Russian accent.
Russian accent? That is beyond cool. XD
