Looks like we both missed each other yesterday. 😛 But I can probably come on again in about five and a half hours if you want. Let me know if you are free to chat today.
I think you are actually three hours ahead of me? (Which is weird because I could have sworn it was two last time). So that’ll actually be 3.30pm for you? I’m not sure. 😛

@seekjustice
Really? How? 😀
She also has to eat turkey casserole, but she doesn’t like it and it reminds her of her parents. So she going to have to try not to cry either… -

@seekjustice
I’m having a bit of fun twisting her arm. 😛
She has to pretend to be someone who likes romances, but she doesn’t. It’s going to be great. XDWhat about you?

@seekjustice Thank you. You did really good too. XP
I haven’t actually gotten to that part yet. But she is with some people who are going to help her burn stuff after she helps them with a mission… -

Sorry will be working so won’t be able to join. 😛 However, I should be able to chat during my break (in about 4 hours which is about 2.30pm for you?). Let me know if you want to.
I would invite you guys too but I don’t want to promote the bad habit of staying up late on the comp. 😛

@seekjustice I’m still here. I may leave sometimes if I have to help get ready for thanksgiving. But I’m getting some writing done now. I guess you don’t have Thanksgiving in Australia. Do you?
I’m a bit behind too. But more than you. 😛
There’s a free writing app on Google Play store called Writeometer. One thing that I have found to be nice…[Read more] -

@rochellaine @seekjustice I have seen National Treasure(I saw the second half recently, but I’ve seen the whole thing before). But I’m going to bed, so maybe I can discuss it tomorrow. If y’all still on that then. XD
Good night. -

@seekjustice Perhaps. I’ve heard that the British do not excessively display flags either except on national holidays, though, so I kind of think it may be just an American thing. Not that Americans are necessarily more patriotic than others, just that we more outwardly and excessively display and rejoice in our patriotism. 😉
To clarify: I d…[Read more]

@bluejay Nope, I don’t have it. Sorry. 🙁 But that sounds like an interesting business to have!
@seekjustice That sounds like a fun game.
Yeah, we’ve got flags everywhere. American flags, state flags, sometimes other flags as well, for organizations, always placed under the American and state flags. And if you go down South you do have the…[Read more]

@bluejay Ah, that makes me feel better for Australians. I’m glad you have the alphabet game. 😉 That’s funny though, that you find X to be a hard letter. We can easily find it on all the “Exit” signs along the highways. X is one of the absolute easiest letters to find. I’ve never heard of “quote” signs. @seekjustice do you have any idea…[Read more]

@seekjustice Ah yes, Bottle-o was mentioned in the video as well.
The alphabet game is a game played in the car where you basically look at road signs, license plates, or anything you can see to find each letter of the alphabet in order. I believe it’s one of the most common car games in America. Since “q” is one of the least used letters, w…[Read more]

@seekjustice I’ve been watching a YouTube video on the differences between American, British, and Australian English. 😀
The difference that really stuck out to me was that the Australian person in the video said you don’t have “Liquor stores” you have “bottle shops.” Is that true? And if so, how do you play the alphabet gam…[Read more]

Why not? The retelling is modern (written in modern times) though the setting is not. 😛

I thought you were going for ‘a modern retelling of Les Mis’? 😛
