@kathleenramm Nevertheless, it’s true.
@seekjustice Yeah! That’s what I’ve been thinking for a while. XD

@seekjustice It does have a lot of good themes! Really helped for my class, since they were easy to remember.

@seekjustice Wow thank you for all the recommendations!! I definitely love Harry Potter and the Night Circus, and I’ve heard of a couple others on your list but I’d love to read them! You’re right, that era is so fantastic and diverse, no wonder so much fantasy is influenced by it.

Thank you! I am looking forward to exploring the community!
I dabble in writing in almost all genres though mystery/action/suspense is my favorite.
For reading…….I own over 600 books so again a lot of genres. Out of all of them, my favorites are classic, mystery, and historical fiction. I do like certain nonfiction as well.

YESS!!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve had soooooooooo many rejections (literally every single thing I’ve written and submitted for something was rejected) in the past but I’ve never thought of looking at it as it just not being the right season for it to work. So, that’s an AWESOME perspective to have!

That’s super awesome! Horses are really great, (responsibility, yes) but really great!
I believe mine is a cross between a quarter horse and welsh, but since she’s a grade horse, it’s hard to tell.
Riding is one of my favorite things to do! I don’t think it’s is one of my horse’s favorite things though. I picked up on that after…[Read more] -

Well, I really liked the first draft of the first book, which I think wasn’t originally intended to be a retelling at all, if I recall correctly? So unless you feel it’s necessary to go along with your original plans, I’m sure you’d do great with a non-retelling plot. Or maybe you could do something Scarlet Pimpernel inspired, w…[Read more]

Yeah, adding a satisfactory ending would be really hard after that. I mean, if you had a new leader come in and save the day just before Zac is killed, readers would probably laugh at it as too convenient. Whereas if you had all the executions attract the new leader’s attention, but he got there right after Zac’s death, that w…[Read more]

What kind of ending would a duology need? A new leader and form of government and they all live happily ever after? Or just a sparkle of hope that someday in the future things will get better?
The wedding is scheduled for the beginning of March. We were planning a big wedding, but at this point we’re not sure how many people wo…[Read more]

Ah yes, that was a fun book. Weren’t you going to dissemble it and combine it with the Quillon story?
Well, the one I did for them previously was a musical, with four songs. And musicals are usually more fun than just straight plays. So, although I haven’t decided on what songs to write, I plan to write a few if I can.
It’ll ju…[Read more]

Wonderful!
What are you working on?
I’m just getting started on a new play for my little sisters. My youngest sister has been begging me to write another one before I get married, so this is a rush job. Has to be done by the end of the month. 😉 I’ve been trying to think of an idea, and finally got one a couple of days ago, an…[Read more]

@seekjustice I read Frankenstein last year for school…it was quite interesting. Very impressive to me the age at which Shelley wrote the book.

Thank you!
I’m neither person for the most part. I had planned on drinking coffee during NaNoWriMo, but surprised myself by making it through the first draft without it:)
As for pets, I have three cats, a few chickens, and a horse (I live on a farm), so pets were kind of inevitable:)

@seekjustice Hey Chelsea, nice to meet you! Sounds like you found a really cool and rewarding career path! If you were to study history which area would you choose? I wrote on early American politics but I’m also a sucker for Regency England (Austen made me fall for Mr. Darcy and Captain Wentworth and there’s no return from that). I also love…[Read more]
