I don’t think it’s too common to have talking horses. Highly intelligent horses are pretty common, but they don’t always talk. I think the idea could work, but I think it would be a bit odd to have one variety of horse for each race. Maybe just one type?

What would the P in EP? Stand for? You might still be able to call it the Unit, even if there are multiple units, because the prisoners would fear it the most, so they might call it that even if there are technically multiple.
