@sarah-h You can probably find a classic like Animal Farm at your library. Check there first, and if you can’t find it, you might locate one at Half-Price books or some other popular bookstore.

Hey @sarah-h I noticed that you get on KP in my late afternoon, would you be interested in writing together for some time? We could set a time and do it once a week if you want??? 🙂

@sarah-h no problem! But as Daeus said there are a lot of junk books to watch out for so it might be best if you search specifically for a book instead of scrolling through they’re suggestions. Also, I just took a look and Counted Worthy is not on there. 🙁 But Animal Farm is.

@sarah-h Unfortunately, Wattpad isn’t the safest place in the world, but I think it can be used and enjoyed if done carefully. My two concerns are that a lot of the books on there look like junk and there doesn’t appear to be much to say what can’t go on a cover, or at least the website is just bad at filtering that stuff. The good news is that…[Read more]

So I was laying down, hoping to rest my eyes for just two minutes, when this idea popped into my head for the name for my street team and I had to get back up and write it down.
Legendaires (a combination of the word Legend and Legionnaires)
Now, what do you think. Honest opinion, everyone. Is it cool, or is it cheesy?
How about a few tags……[Read more]

@sarah-h I’m sorry, were you talking about Counted Worthy or Animal Farm? Somehow I seem to have gotten all mixed up.
Wattpad is an app, it is also a website. Basically you sign up for free and you can read different books as well as post snippets of your own so you can build a following.

Is there anyone still awake on KP who wishes to write??? I have been told from a very reliable source (thanks @spradlin) that west side of America is three hours behind the other side of America. *hmmm…I don’t think I’m making much sense, but hey, what’s new???*
So let me tag a few people and if you are interested in writing with me for a time…[Read more] -

Yes @sarah-h, that’s one of the most important things about writing. Writing anything, not just something you’re not sure about. 🙂

@belegteleri I was not able to find it free as an ebook. I did find it for 99c however and @sarah-h apparently was able to find a free copy on ibooks though I did not see one there. I know you can find the text free online, you’d just be reading it from a web page, not in an ebook format. Also, if you prefer audio, you can get a free recording…[Read more]

What @anna-brie said @sarah-h. 🙂 We don’t like witch either as the Bible warns against them, but we love this book.

I avoided it because of the title for a bit, but it’s a lovely story with nothing creepy about it. The ‘witch’ is just a lovely old quaker woman. The Puritans weren’t very tolerant of any one who disagreed with them and they were superstitious. It’s a very accurate historical novel. I found a good summary of it for any one who wants to…[Read more]

@sarah-h The Count Of Monte Cristo would be fantastic. Just one rather big problem. It would take us … (oh, let me see), it would take us at least a year I’m sure.
