@daeus. To talk about singing.
See? They didn’t need much guidance, did they? Don’t you love the way topics grow so quickly?
@kate-flournoy, Same! Some very minor training from a musical theatre class I used to attend, but that’s about it. My sister and I sing aaallll the time, though, and whenever I start singing, I just look at her and she…[Read more] -

@f5a8c3e92, nice! Tell us more about your singing in the topic ‘Singing’ under ‘Music’. Everyone was very naughty and got distracted on the wrong topic. *smiles benevolently upon all of you*

@FeedingMyGoldfish Hey, thanks! I’ll take a look. I’ve looked up how to sound fiddly so many times…I’m self taught so most of my info comes from where I can find it online. But nothing I’ve read about fiddling has stuck well. I want to be able to play like a violinist and a fiddler. 😛
Specifically Irish is good. I like Irish/British style…[Read more] -

@FeedingMyGoldfish Oramentation, aka grace notes. Right? Some of them at least. Those things are so fun, for violin and voice.
And you used to FIDDLE? *gasp* Please, tell me how I can make my violin sound fiddly! -

@That_Writer_Girl_99 I’ll be praying for you too.
@Ethryndal Link to song…on page 21…pay attention. XD
Thanks for the prayers and congratulations everyone. Kate did awesomely, and so many people came and said afterwards, “She was singing with so much VIGOR!” 😀

@anne-of-lothlorien,
I wrote words to one of my pieces for my fast-approaching piano exam. The words are based off a movie my sisters and I made. The music was our theme song at the time, but it only instrumental. 🙂In those past days,
we used to lie in pastures green,
And we stayed, by the flowing stream,
there we played.
We never knew those…[Read more] -

Here you are @daeus. 🙂
I’m B3 to C6. I think that makes me a soprano… 🙂 I would guess so, my favourite thing to sing is opera.
Hey, you should all take this. Meanwhile, I’ll start a topic called ‘Singing.’ It’s under music… -

New Topic. As requested by a bunch of girls who started talking about it in the ‘prayer requests’ topic. *tries to frown* *fails* *grins*. 🙂

@f5a8c3e92 Huh, guess I haven’t heard that word enough, and ‘pried’ would work too. 😛
Oh, and I see now how that means only Sawyer, but that was definitely not my first thought. -

Here are some things. I guess some of them were there with the previous excerpts too, I just didn’t remember them all (or didn’t have time to be thorough enough, which is also possible. :P).
Halle… Moonglade. Yes. That was the perfect name. Sure, she’d attempted to write several books, leaving them unfinished… but this was different. Yes, she’d…[Read more]

@f5a8c3e92 I’m coming! Haven’t had time to do this yet.
But now that I’m here, I have something really helpful to say: what everyone else said. *sheepish grin* I know, that’s resounding, but there you have it. Most of what everyone else said I was thinking too, especially concerning the info-dump-ishness of the stuff about her having lived with…[Read more] - Load More

Well, I didn’t actually change my username, that’s still perfectfifths, I changed the name that’s on my profile. So, I went to my profile, clicked edit and changed the name there. So my tag is perfectfifths, but the “name” (in quotes because it’s actually my pen name) is Louise Fowler. I hope that made sense 😉
