@Aratrea Yes, Thomas Hardy. It’s definitely not a happy movie, but the theme comes across very strongly. I heard most of Thomas Hardy’s novels are tragedies. 😛

I think War Room would have to be my favourite Christian good theme movie. The power of prayer is amazing and I think War Room portrays it very well.
As for my other movie…I’ll have to think. Okay, so I stopped typing and thought and looked in our movie drawer. I think Frozen is fair close to top. The fact that a kiss wasn’t the…[Read more]

Whoopee! I made it to 10,000 words in my WWI story “Sacrifice”. Which means 12,502 words total. This is so exciting. 🙂

@Mark-Kamibaya Good to know we won’t be killed for listing books. 😉 Why is it harder to find books than movies? Because of where you live?
A Tale of Two Cities for the theme of sacrifice and true, Christ-like love. Book and movie. Seriously, that one is so. awesome. I cried my heart out because of it, but it was so well pulled off. Do you know…[Read more]

@Anne-of-Lothlorien But Kili died in the book too, so he should have in the movie!! In the book he and Fili died together though, defending Thorin. I so wish it had been that way in the movie. Have you read the book?
Yeah, the alternated “Misty Mountains” one is neat.@Mark-Kamibaya *abruptly ceases the nodding* 😀 I don’t want to lose my head.

Also please tell me I’m not the only person who enjoys waving at people in other cars while we drive, or smiling up at the drivers of the big semis when they stare down at our huge van in astonishment…
@Kate-Flournoy Nope. You isn’t. 😀 😛

@anne-of-lothlorien The title is Sacrifice. (At the moment) I think it will stick, but I don’t tend to decide on my titles until at the end.

@overcomer Oh, okay. I’m taking a break no for lunch as I have been writing since I tagged you above (with a twenty minute break for a singing lesson). I’ll see what I’m doing after lunch and if I can join you, I’ll tag you.
Btw I got 1613 in that time. 😉 -

@kate-flournoy Thanks. Hmm…I’ll have to start this notebook carrying. It seems like a good idea.
No you’re not the only one, Kate. I don’t do it all the time, but when my sister got married we had white ribbons on the car and everyone waved at us or gave us a thumbs up. It was lots of fun.

@Sarah-H Don’t worry, I’m not planning to start a huge argument. 😀 But may I ask, why don’t you consider Trump evil and corrupt if you know he’s led an ungodly life and is worldly?
Also what do you take to mean he’s pro-Christian? I know he’s said things that sound like it, but he’s also said he’s never asked God for forgiveness, and that he…[Read more] -

Awww…so sweet. 😀
I really need to read those books someday. Do you think they’d be in a small town library? *small sigh because I most likely know the answer*Oh and I remembered the gang member I was thinking of earlier—Chris. Does he have any part to play? I don’t know that much about him.
By the way, I love nearer the front of the story…[Read more]
