@Rebelutoinary Hey, I’ve read Before You Meet Prince Charming! That book helped me a lot, as I read it right when I was going through a rough time with relationships and stuff. I live in Phoenix!!! I wonder how far away we are. How exactly do you lead a group? What kinds of things do you do? Once you get settled, how will you go about starting a…[Read more]

@clairec Okay, I’m back on track with quiet time. I might only do half an hour every morning, but it’s better than nothing. The more free time I have, the longer I’ll spend. How are you doing? I had this random idea. What if we pick a book of the New Testament, maybe one of Paul’s letters, to read together? You pick first. 🙂 @bluejay Do you want to too?

@winter-rose That must have been exciting. I remember one time in the Outer Banks Daddy was fishing on the beach in the place where we often swam, and he caught a four-foot-long bull shark (one of the deadliest sharks in the world. They’re not long and thin; they’re thick and muscular, and very powerful.) It had a top fin at least a foot tall, and…[Read more]

Hi @rebelutionary! 🙂 What is Bright Lights? It sounds amazing. You’ve had quite the adventurous life. What is South Korea like? I have a crazy dream of being a missionary to North Korea somehow someday, although it seems impossible at the moment. I LIVE IN ARIZONA TOO!!! Whereabouts in Arizona have you been? 🙂

@bluejay Thanks. 🙂 I never really gave it much thought until one night I was volunteering at church, and one of my customers said I have a weird accent, in a negative way. But whatever it sounds like, God made it and He likes it, so I’ll stick with that. 🙂
I really don’t know why I haven’t read Black Beauty; it’s extremely popular and I’ve…[Read more] -

@daeus If that ever happens, I would love to read it, too. I know a little about the Armenian Massacres, but I’ve never read a first-hand account, and those are the best. 🙂

@winter-rose I’m guessing #2 is your lie, because it would be so cool if #1 were true. How on earth did you cut yourself with a spoon?
@hope #2 was my lie, actually. It’s true that I will never date. 🙂 And I don’t fear cockroaches, but Mommy hates, despises, detests and is the sworn enemy of, the roach clan. 🙂

@bluejay Thinking about it that way, I guess I can hear my accent. I don’t know if I like it, though…
I’ve never read Black Beauty. It’s about a horse, isn’t it? I really liked all the action and scene changes in Talea. Do you think your next one will be like that, or will it be more dialogue-centered, like Call of the Prince? -
Sarah Hoven replied to the topic Stop motion in the forum Film 8 years, 1 month ago
@bluejay Yikes, I misspelled it! Talea, not Tarea. That was your first time? I loved the way you did it. I’m not sure if you can hear your own accent- I can’t hear mine- but it gave the movie a very old-Englishy, medieval feeling. At first, silly American me, I thought you were intentionally trying to affect a medieval accent, and then I realized…[Read more]

@overcomer Exactly! It just doesn’t look right with an “a”. It’s the same with “theatre”, the “er” spelling gives it a whole different feeling. It’s funny how spellings affect the way we perceive words.
