@bluejay Thinking about it that way, I guess I can hear my accent. I don’t know if I like it, though…
I’ve never read Black Beauty. It’s about a horse, isn’t it? I really liked all the action and scene changes in Talea. Do you think your next one will be like that, or will it be more dialogue-centered, like Call of the Prince? -

@bluejay Yikes, I misspelled it! Talea, not Tarea. That was your first time? I loved the way you did it. I’m not sure if you can hear your own accent- I can’t hear mine- but it gave the movie a very old-Englishy, medieval feeling. At first, silly American me, I thought you were intentionally trying to affect a medieval accent, and then I realized…[Read more]

@bluejay Absolutely. I know, situations like that are so frustrating. Especially when it’s a naive twelve-year-old girl going with an older, super untrustworthy teen. Arrgh…

@bluejay Who is Bruchko about? That’s an unusual name; sounds Eastern European.

@overcomer Exactly! It just doesn’t look right with an “a”. It’s the same with “theatre”, the “er” spelling gives it a whole different feeling. It’s funny how spellings affect the way we perceive words.

@bluejay True, but in the great state of Arizona they decided that Daylight Savings Time is a great bother, and not to be observed by Arizonians. So as long as I’m in Arizona my time won’t change. Isn’t Arizona great? 🙂

@bluejay Yay, let’s do it! 🙂 (Althoughif something comes up, that’s okay.)
It was so much fun. We went with our youth group (it was my first time going as a leader, but the only leadery thing I did was try to stop one if my sixth-graders from going off with one of the boys. She wouldn’t listen, but I know what to do next time, so it won’t happen…[Read more]

@bluejay Yep, it’s 11:56. So now we’re only six hours apart (backwards) instead of seven. Thank you for clarifying that. 🙂

@bluejay I’m confused. I thought when it was midnight here, it was 5 p.m. tomorrow over there. So now, when it’s midnight here, will it be four or six p.m. over there?

@clairec @bluejay November sounds good to me, as long as neither of you are planning on doing NaNoWriMo. 🙂 If not, I can wait ’til next year (wow, that sound so far away…it’s only three months. This Arizona weather is disorienting me.) Sorry I missed a few days on here; I was on a camping trip. 🙂

@bluejay We watched Bound as a family last night. It was amazing! Thank you for telling me about it. I still can’t figure out what genre it is. I assumed it was just fantasy, until they mentioned chapel. And then Micah – or was it the boy?- mentioned Scotland Yard from Sherlock Holmes. And one of the scenes had Don Quixote in the background. What…[Read more]

@clairec You guessed it! 🙂 It’s spiders that I hate; Mommy’s the one who can’t stand cockroaches. 🙂 Oh, I’m sorry your dancing experience didn’t go well. I don’t even know how to dance, but if I ever did try it would probably be pretty awful. 🙂

@bluejay I’m going one more day. Thank you for doing it with me! 🙂 I’ve been trying to not read your story. 🙂 Thank you for reminding me I only have one day left; I would’ve given in and read it if you hadn’t. My eyes have been hurting me, so I didn’t read as much as I would have liked. I think, though, that reading only the Bible helped me keep…[Read more]

I’m guessing
@clairec #3
@Daeus #3
@bluejay #1
@anna-brie #1
@Kate-Flournoy #3 (Is #1 true? Because if so, me too. I would’ve died if Mommy hadn’t had a C-section.)
@spradlin #2
@jess #2
@hannah-c #1Okay, for me:
#1 I’ve never (and will never) date.
#2 I can’t stand cockroaches.
#3 I want to work with the underground…[Read more] -

I do not know the Burns or the Moores. I wish I did, though. I’m very interested in film-making; maybe one day I’ll get to work with them. 🙂 - Load More
