@bluejay haha, you’re to sweet. 😉
@jess Ooo good point. *goes to switch things around*
@sarah-h Great guesses for the little bit given! It actually does take place in England about 1498. Though it’s not strictly historical fiction cause I don’t know everything about that time period. Though I realized after I posted it that there’s a couple…[Read more]

Hey guys.
So I’ve actually been writing a book. It’s been a long time that I’ve been able to commit to a story, but this is the one that I’m sticking with to the end. I’ve been rolling it over in my head for about a year now and it’s finally coming together like hot cocoa and marshmallows! I was literally so excited about it that I suggested to…[Read more]

I could never choose out of these four which was my favorite. 🙂
The Inheritance (Family Films version) It’s a Louisa May Alcott story. I am inclined to like this much better than Little Women. It’s a contrast between two female characters one who’s out to get all she can from life and one who wants to give all she is through life.The Secret…[Read more]

I got 509 words in that half hour. I may get to come back, but my sister asked me to play checkers so I’m taking a break.

Opps I read that wrong… when your FRIEND is a writer.
In that case…Echoing what @emma said, When you watch a movie together there’s a consistent commentary about the plot quality and characterization of each character.

Rolena Hatfield replied to the topic Where do I start my novel? in the forum Novel Idea Critiques 8 years, 1 month ago
@sleepwalkingmk Hey this sounds like a neat story! There’s always so many ways you could start a story! In the end it’s up to you how you want to go about it, but from your snops of the your intros, from the readers perspective, I’d say the fourth sounds like a good start. I’d say the second and third are details that can be showed in the story as…[Read more]

@r-e-p Yep! I’m a country girl through and through! It’s all I’ve ever truly know. I like to go barefoot and enjoy the beauty of the wide open spaces and go outside to sing at the top of my lungs where I know no one will hear me 🙂
Well I won’t get you started, unless you want to, :p but I love genealogy too. Have you ever written down what you…[Read more] -
