We try to walk on the right side for the most part. 🙂

I’ve got a weird question for you Americans. In Australia, we usually walk on the same side of the footpath as we drive on the road, that being the right side. My family has currently bamboozled themselves wondering whether you walk on the left side of the footpath or the right side. 😛

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking. I’ve found that I enjoy very few books/movies with absent villains (and even ones like Lord of the Rings that have a largely absent villain in Sauron have very personal villains in Denethor, Gollum and Saruman).
I’m still scanning the archives of Puritan America, but for some reason I’m not thinking that…[Read more]

I see. I like giving my MCs very personal connections to the villains. Mostly because it helps in making conversations with the villains not-boring (How many interesting ways can, “I’m stopping you because you’re evil!” or, “I’m stopping you to save the world!” be said?) 😀
Yes, an ironic one would work. Same goes for a fitting one…[Read more]

Well, the human antagonist is more a personification of the force of nature antagonist I had before. I thought that would help make it a bit more personal, rather than just a vague threatening presence.
Either would work. the villain is a surprise reveal sort of thing, so maybe an ironic name could work better.

Oh so Wattle Fire is going to have a human antagonist now?
Ah, creating villains can be so fun. 😛 Are you looking for a fitting Puritan name or an ironic one?

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 4 months ago
Not much at the moment. I’m currently just making an antagonist for Wattle Fire and trying to find a good old, suitably weird Puritan name

You watched Phantom? That’s cool 😀 What do you like best about it?
Hi, what’s up? 🙂

Sorry, I didn’t mean to ignore you, I was just never notified about your tag, which is weird, but happens a fair bit.
I’d definitely be interested, but two questions. a) What’s it about? b) when do you want it read by?
And, how long is it?

Hello! Sorry, I was out last night, but I’m back now! You saw Phantom? As in, the movie or the actual stage version? I enjoy both, but the stage version is superior.

Yeah I guess this news was best for @seekjustice and @rochellaine, lol! 😀 (a.k.a. The Musical Experts 😛 )
