Bloke is a good word, isn’t it Rochellaine’s sister?
We mostly watch DVDs because of rural internet download, but the other day, when I was watching ATOTC I was on Youtube because it was the last day of the plan and we still had a good amount of internet left and I was trying to use it up. I don’t get to do that a whole lot…[Read more]

Awesome! How did you like it? I’ve watched clips from that one, but have never been able to see the whole thing.
Oh, and I’ve been meaning to tell you a funny story about my sister.
A few nights ago, we were in bed and I was just dozing off when there was a rather large crashing noise as something fell off something on my sister’s…[Read more]

*sighs* No, I don’t own a horse…yet! 😉 My parents said I could probably get one if we move to a place with a lot more land (which we hope to do in the future). I just hope to find some online courses, and possibly a trainer near me who I can learn from.
Yes, photography is a lot of fun to experiment with. 🙂
Ah, I see. I kind of…[Read more]

I would’ve guessed that about Chessy. 😉
I don’t know her name, but maybe the actress that played Katniss in the Hunger Games movie (I haven’t seen it though 😉 ). But with shorter and blonde hair. 🙂
Okay, see ya later!

Chessy is definitely fight, I think. Yilla is more of a survivor, so she’d do whatever seemed best to survive. She wouldn’t be afraid to fight or ashamed to run away.
I need to go for now, but I’ll give you one more question:
If you had to choose an actor to portray your character, who would it be?

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Ah, I do that too. I say, ‘my book is kind of a cross between [this book] and [this book]…though I haven’t read either of them.’ 😀
Hmm, that’s a hard one. Rin would probably look up to some person who’s started a rebellion of some sort against an oppressive government, because she’d want to do the same. A specific person doesn’t…[Read more]

Oh, and for my question,
What real world famous person would your character admire deeply?
-
SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Hmm…that’s actually quite difficult, but let me think about it…
I’m having a hard time thinking of one for Chessy, but for Yilla I’d say Katniss, even though I actually haven’t read The Hunger Games.

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Rin would probably make herself a wee bit taller. 🙂
What character in a published book is most like your MC?

@valtmy Aw, bye. 🙁

If your character could change one thing about their physical appearance, what would it be?
-
valtmy replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Oh I would love to! The character game is really fun. But I have to go. 🙁
Haha yes. Your story may be inspired by Les Mis but you’re not going for that. 😛 Though I’m think there may at least be some really, really minor characters (some that don’t even have names?) that even Hugo overlooked?
I’ll be going off now.…[Read more]

@seekjustice Okay. 😀 Well then, how about you ask the first question?
-
SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Sure!
Unless you for one of those epic tomes (*cough* Les Mis) which relates the entire backstories and futures of every. single. character 😀

Jenna Terese replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
@seekjustice I see. 🙂
@valtmy Oh, okay. 🙂
Do you all want to do that character question game again? Don’t feel bad if you don’t want to; we used to do it kind of a lot. 🙂
-
valtmy replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Sorry don’t feel bad. I do the same for my characters. 😛
Unless the story is simple or you are actively going for a minimal cast of characters, I don’t think it is possible to make them all interesting and significant.

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Now you’re making me feel bad 😛
-
valtmy replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
I always end up feeling sorry for such characters. Because God has plans for each and every person in this world. But for our own characters, we often really don’t due to our limitations. 😛
Hello. Not working on anything. Just on the way to work. 😛

I’m hoping to. So far, I’ve written….well, nothing.

@seekjustice Whoah you’re taking a chunk out of your outline?! That’s brave; doing that would scare me to death. 😉
@valtmy Watcha working on?
