What is the origin of your last name?
Not sure. It means “blacksmith ironworker” so it probably had origins similar to “Smith”. Interesting thing is, I recently learned that there’s a few different variations, such as Isle (Finnish I think).
Eisele itself is German. I’ve actually met another Eisele whose ancestors came to the US a few…[Read more]

Okay…. I’m afraid I’m not sure which one that was….. Does your real name start with a “J” or an “L”
I sent out so many test emails that I lost track of who was who! lolololol. So sorry!

Think I like Veil of Night better than Let the Be Light. I find Joseph more relatable than Aaron. I’ll go into more detail about this when I give you the feedback. I do have to go now and get ready for school.

Well, thank you all the same.
The Veil of Night as always been my least favorite of the four, but most people tend to like it better then LTBL. I don’t remember if I asked you this, but since you’ve read both of them straight through now, which do you like best?

I really can’t believe that you take the time to reread the whole book! Thank you so much!
I find it helps me to remember things and notice smaller details I have otherwise missed. Also, I’m sitting around on the train with nothing to do anyway on my way to school, so why not?

You’ve read dust? I read about three chapters, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on the full thing. How is it?

I would like to, but my week is looking pretty crammed. I think it might be better to skip this one and do next week. (Time got crowded with unplanned doctor’s visits after I was injured.)
So sorry! I hope I’m not letting anyone down!

Ah! I love it. Here’s a few questions:
1) what time of year does the book start/span?
2) what type of things does Peter’s father invent?
3) have you made incorrect quotes for these charies yet?

Nice Cat eye. I don’t know why, but I find drawing animal eyes very satisfying. Somehow it is easier to focus on the shading and the result often ends up being very realistic. Good job with the fur around it as well. I like your rose as well. The cross-hatching is an interesting style. Thank you for sharing!

Hehe, the Tell-Tale Heart is pretty fun to read, just because of how dramatic it is. Dark, but fun.
I remember writing a short story about a guy who was the president or something and thought that the sun had fallen out of the sky and went crazy and told the press about it.
He should stop spending time with Chicken Little, that’s what I…[Read more]

That sounds interesting. I am helping out a few other people with their WIPs right now, so I don’t know how much time I will have to help you, but I wouldn’t mind hearing a little more about your characters.

What is the difference between the brain and the mind’s aspects?
That distinction is fuzzy in universe, intentionally, because I think it’s also fuzzy in real life. The best distinction I can give is that the brain is purely physical (which makes the distinction between physical and psychological aspect a bit fuzzy as well), while t…[Read more]
