Well hey, God has made you this age at this time for a reason. The Devil would love for this year to be a complete and total wreck, but the good thing is, you serve a King who is far higher than any prince of darkness. Pray for strength, get out your Bible and read, (psalms are a great place to go when you’re having a hard time)…[Read more]

Interesting how he seems to have a connection to the other characters. I do agree his name blends in with the others’ but that’s not a bad thing, nor do you need to change it, that’s just me failing to pay attention lol

it’s an alternate Europe. If that makes sense.
yeah. Â That was a roller coaster chapter. Any thoughts on Andreas?
Oooo! I’ll have to listen to the song!

Ooo, mysterious.
sadly, he’s not any of those. He was very much an Andreas, so I’ll have to find a name with the same flow, beats, meanings, and rhythm.
Naming a character is not a simple thing. 😂 -

It’s my sister’s birthday so I probably won’t post today.
I’m late but tell her happy birthday!

@linus-smallprint yeah, it’s just a first draft, those are never, ever perfect. Some can get close to how the end story is, but there’s inevitably gonna have to be at least one scene you cut, one set of dialogue you rework, one characters whose role changes, etc.

also I had video game soundtracks on in the background while I was doing schoolwork and this one decided to come on right as I started reading and hit the part when they discover the ruined university…..
…one of like three or four orchestral songs in that entire playlist, and oddly fitting too. Funny how that always happens. No matter what…[Read more]

Finished it! That was a rollercoaster, between confronting a false teacher and the destruction of the university. The plot thickens.

Basically my question is more of “Is this supposed to be a hypothetical eighth continent or small island somewhere in the world, or does this Earth have completely different continents, and the biblical places exist in different configurations?”
Sorry for such a weird question, and sorry if I’ve asked something similar before, but I just…[Read more]

@ellette-giselle I see. But is there a Europe somewhere else (nearby?), or does the island-continent in your map completely replace it?
As in, was the “Rome” referred to in the book of Romans what eventually became the Empire, or is it a different place in a different part of the world, and the two have similar cultures either just because…[Read more]

Well, you don’t have to change it, but it’s up to you.
Other ideas if you want them: Nickolas, Charles, Clive.
(I grabbed these names from a very specific source that I cannot name.)

Ugh. But I like his name. *pouts*
Then stash it in for a different character. It’s not a bad name.

Yes, it does. In fact, I like that idea. I’ll make a few tweaks.
Okay!
Ah yes, well, we were in Leon’s POV at the time.
I should make myself pay more attention to whose POV you are using, because I haven’t really other than when they are separated.
btw, any thoughts on Andreas?
I’m trying to recall people from the last book. Per…[Read more]

They found thirty of fifty+. The others just are no where to be found. So they might be dead.
And yeah they hated it. It was basically a fortress for the Christian operations.
Ah yes, “I”
Does that make sense?

I was confused through these paragraphs.…

They reached the green and came to a stop. The castle-like University–– haven to so much work in the spread of Christianity–– was nearly destroyed. It had been hit many times by siege weapons, and the towers and walls were caved-in and crumbling.
Wow. They really hated that university. Yikes. No survivors again?
“He’s one of the…
