Not sure if that last part was directed at me or gabbyj but I do agree with what you said! 🙂 The character I was referring to is one from a story/project I’ve dropped at the moment (Might pick it up again later .. probably will?) so that I can focus on other none writing stuff. Such as drawing, (A hobby I care about more then…[Read more]

Hi, everyone!
I’m looking for input on character consistency. In every story (long or short) that I write, I like to have a character who’s generally optimistic and lighthearted, and who sometimes even provides the comic relief. However, a lot of my story plots tend to get more and more intense as they go. Does anybody have any advice for keeping…[Read more]

@notawriter Right now I’m just working on a few of the main cast. And for art, I don’t paint. Mainly I draw with pencil and paper, then scan it into my computer so I can color it digitally.
@dekreel I do indeed like dragons, but I do have to say I prefer Griffons. I think they’re just a wee bit cuddlier. 🙂 Anyhow, I have a thing for mystery and…[Read more]

My deepest apologies to @Stan and @Dragon-snapper. Let me clarify: the only dragons I want to kill are the evil ones. 😛
Thank you so much, everyone, this is extremely helpful!!!
@Theacornman The dragons in my story are pretty big; like, maybe roughly three times the size of a workhorse? I should probably make them smaller, though, so they can…[Read more]

@gabbyj
*clears throat* To slay a flying dragon one must first, ground, said dragon (unless you have great aim and can shoot one of their softer parts or where they are missing a scale *see @princessfoo above*. Though that is really hard and requires lots of skill. So here’s a much easier way, grounding.)

Hmm
Okay, I will use Stan as my character.

He would rather forget about his family (They were quite cruel to him before I rescued him)

@introvert_girl Ohhh… I shall do this for Kay Waters, because she’s the star/Easter-egg for my books.
