I always have a reason. I dare you to find a character I killed without reason. *British sniff*

I don’t think it would be a good thing if Leo deserted his current authoress… especially for the resident psychopath.. XD
I’m actually very excited about this Fairy project, and I think if it’s finished, Leo stands a good chance of getting written too. (And getting written better than he would be now.) That’s my theory. Don’t…[Read more]

*Snort*
….
That’s not too bad a title, if you want it. The Resident Psychopath.
The difference my dear, is that I only kill characters if I have a good enough reason.

you should. Leo is going to desert and come join me because I will write his story. So there.
The only difference was I thought it would be much funnier if it was a collage kid. And yes, I guess the prophesy and the fearie were not supposed to be in the same book to begin with. But still…….Call me what you want. I don’t care.…[Read more]

*Squeaks*
Just felt bad leaving Leo where he was and returning to MG.XD
I think madam, you may be dubbed The Lady Letter Opener, if others agree. You have both steel and letters in thy arsenal, so steel for letters in thy gift. *Curtsey*
Honestly call yourself what you want. I named myself the Nursery Rhymer, and I hardly…[Read more]

Burning in my mind
A whispering, restless voice
Some disembodied cry
About my thoughts begins to wind
Ever closer, tighter bind. -

Cookie looking siblings,
Oops. Cookie loving. How did I get a typo in a pretyped, typo-less blurb…

Ma’am. Please introduce your story in more detail. I am currently working on a whimsy story of fairies, cozy homes, and evil people-eating rabbits. We have a few things in common and I would love to hear about your project.
Hmm, I do see similarities. Okay, here’s the blurb:
Cookie looking siblings, a begrudgingly helpful fairy, a…[Read more]

I’m not in the competition, I just thought Ellette’s comment was funny.
Eh, not in a good long time, and only when my brother was first starting out in it, so to speak. I definitely couldn’t hold my own against a real 14th century knight.
But I’m also learning a lot of medical stuff right now…so I could probably…[Read more]

Book recs?? *Squeals* okay, here’s a few of my favorite whimsy books.
A Place to Hang the Moon by Late Albus
The Ogress and the Orphans by Kelly Barnhill
East by Edith Pattou (this one does get kinda darkish, but as in, it’s a rewrite of a Norwegian fairytale where there are evil trolls who let freeze people to death)

Alrighty! XD And no time pressure. I need to focus on getting a first draft right now anyway, so I’m not asking for scheduled edits or anything. Lol.

Just tried to sort out a title for myself and lapsed into a poetic paragraph reflecting on my self-perceptions. What utter rot. XD I’m not so nice as I think myself. What an uncomfortable, shivery feeling that is.
I am chaos. I am quiet. An echo of sorts. I am that feeling you get when you sneak gummy worms into your dormmate’s sleeping bag. I am…

I’m honestly a bit tired of dark stuff and stories that “deal with hard themes”. We need more silliness and whimsy. The real world is full of it. Maybe we should reflect it more in our writing.
A hundred and ten percent agree. We need more whimsy and light.

Ahhh, me too oOoOO… fairies…..
I was actually just thinking about getting someone to read over the first chapter and prologue and give me feedback. I know it’s got spots that sort of dragged, but I literally just finished that chapter a few minutes ago and so I didn’t want to look at it myself. (Actually trying a new writing habit…[Read more]

Hmm. Welp, I do write poetry, if it can be called that.
Also I have no idea what age group my stories are for when I’m writing them, but I definitely have a few that feel like children’s books so you are not alone :] I don’t have very many externally dark themes in my stories usually that would make it YA.
*Grateful hugs*
It does feel…[Read more]
