Oops sorry this is late! I’m fifteen and live in England. Obviously I’m crazy about writing and I also play the piano. I’m really awful at any type of sport or dance or anything physical… Anyway, I’m not the hugest fantasy fan 🙂  I read really fast and love show tunes and Christian music. Hope that helps!

Cool I’m not the only not that doesn’t write fantasy 😀   Or even read it for that matter …
Anyway, my WIP is a crime story set in an all girls boarding school in the U.K.  The main character is eleven and is called Adrienne. Whilst putting on a production of twelfth night someone carries  out a lot of sabotage. The saboteur leaves notes written in Shakespearean language and eventually one of the students is kidnapped. Adrienne and her friends have to solve the crime. I’ve finished my first draft and now am editing 😬

Ruth 2 for me threw up one major point. That Boaz and everyone else knew what Ruth had done. By giving up her livelihood for another and being sacrificial, she distinguished herself as different to a majority of the world. This is so important as it shows by doing things that honour others and God we are being salt and light to the world. As my signature says, we should be separate in Christ.

I’ve read Ruth chapter 1… and I had a sneak peak at chapter 2 as well. I love how Ruth is able to sacrifice what she wants for someone else in need. That’s pretty hard in life and you can see it displayed a lot even in small ways. I guess it tells us that we need to be people capable of sacrifice.

What I really like is splitting up the dialogue into sections instead of in chunks.
Eg, “I’m so excited about the party tomorrow night, I just can’t wait,” she squealed.
Becomes
“I’m so excited about the party tomorrow night,” she squealed picking out a dress, “I just can’t wait!”

That sounds like a good idea especially as it’s from a Biblical perspective and I love the story of Esther.
In English mode for a moment there I couldn’t decipher the dates! Is reading the passage today? 😀

PUYPAW- that’s cool and kinda why I started writing. I mean I’ve always done it as a younger person and enjoyed it but the rest of the story is really weird but inspiring. I was having a bad day a couple of years ago because I had seen lots of sin and pain at school. Walking home I felt really sad and asked God what was going on. “There’s so much pain in the world!” I basically said.
And He said… “So pick up your pen and write.”

Hi guys. I guess no prayer request is going to be nice and I’ve got to admit this one’s pretty hard for me to put out there but I do need prayer so here we go.
Quite simply my parents might be getting divorced. Or not divorced. I don’t know and we have been in a period of uncertainty all into this year. I’m really struggling and don’t know what to do
Any prayers would be greatly appreciated.
