Alrighty… answers!
@valtmy ~ some of my favorite books are Les Miserables (Victor Hugo), The Scarlet Pimpernel (Emma Orczy), and actually, War and Peace (Leo Tolstoy) was really good. But also anything by Agatha Christie (but especially the Tommy and Tuppence series), Wayne Thomas Batson (especially The Door Within trilogy), and just other…[Read more]

@pickupyourpenandwrite @singforjoy Awesome! Tell me a bit about yourselves 😉
@sleepwalkingmk Well, as it turns out, the prologue is actually a dud. I ended up writing Jenna’s GIF-hiding story instead. But thank you! XD
And yes! I’ll fit you in eventually. Describe yourself 🙂

@pickupyourpenandwrite So you’re the “other person who doesn’t write fantasy!” Cool!
Pickupyourpenandwrite I read a lot of books written in the early 1900s, and back then there was a much larger percentage of American kids who went to boarding schools. So I’ve read a good many books set in boarding schools which I enjoyed. A Shakespeare my…[Read more]

@pickupyourpenandwrite Yeah, and it can be hard (I think I struggle with this sometimes) to follow God, knowing people might think we’re weird or different, when the Bible actually says were are a ‘peculiar people.’ But sometime people can think more highly of us because of what we do, like in Ruth’s case.
@jane-maree lol, yeah I’m shipping these…[Read more]

@jane-mareeThose are both very interesting observations! When I first agreed to join in on this I wasn’t sure how well it would work out. I was kind of expecting for everyone to notice the same things. But it doesn’t look like that’s the case! Isn’t the Bible so cool like that? 20 different people can read a chapter in the…[Read more]

March is Women’s History Month. When I looked this up, it looked like this was pretty much a feminist holiday. I had asked a few friends here to join me in reading the Bible books of Ruth and Esther over this month instead, to focus more on women that were strong in Christ. @rochellaine suggested I make a topic on this, so we could discuss strong…[Read more]

I write for two reasons. 1) Because I believe the Lord can work through words and that the words we speak and write have power. 2) I write because I have to. What else would I do with all these insane, lovely ideas swirling around in this head of mine? Not that ideas are a burden buuut…*glares at all my WIP…[Read more]

Good idea 🙂
I write for a lot of reasons. It’s something I really enjoy, and I like creating stories. I started because I was inspired by other stories, and I thought… I want to do this. I want to create amazing worlds and powerful characters.
My mind is always thinking about story-related things. I write because I…[Read more]
