@jenwriter17 Ooh, that sounds cool. Do you own a horse yourself? I’ve actually been getting back into photography lately. It’s always fun to experiment with different techniques.
I guess I’m most looking forward to the amount of freedom I’ll get in comparison to school. And as someone who struggled to make friends in the school system, I’m hoping…[Read more]

Chessy is definitely fight, I think. Yilla is more of a survivor, so she’d do whatever seemed best to survive. She wouldn’t be afraid to fight or ashamed to run away.
I need to go for now, but I’ll give you one more question:
If you had to choose an actor to portray your character, who would it be?

Oh, and for my question,
What real world famous person would your character admire deeply?

Hmm…that’s actually quite difficult, but let me think about it…
I’m having a hard time thinking of one for Chessy, but for Yilla I’d say Katniss, even though I actually haven’t read The Hunger Games.

If your character could change one thing about their physical appearance, what would it be?
-
SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #22 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 3 months ago
Sure!
Unless you for one of those epic tomes (*cough* Les Mis) which relates the entire backstories and futures of every. single. character 😀

Now you’re making me feel bad 😛

I’m hoping to. So far, I’ve written….well, nothing.

@jenwriter17 @rochellaine @catwing @valtmy
I have an hour all by myself in the library (no siblings! No distractions! *glances guiltily at all the books*)
I’m going to try to take a chunk out of my outline. Anyone wish to join me?

@seekjustice Hello! Your name seems pretty familiar, but it’s always a pleasure to see another of our kind on the interwebs. 😛
@rochellaine And that is very true. During my online life, I’ve found a lot of differences in my writing from most others. Stuff like the spelling of kerb and curb, then words that are completely different, like…[Read more]

Its on Broadway’s official channel. Some of the more modern dancers are a little odd, but some of them are really good!
Ah, Whiz Fizz? Yeah, its sort of like sherbet, I think. Its very nice and a staple for Australian kids 😛
Good night!

Oh, that sounds like a great channel! What’s it called?
I think yesterday you asked something about a fizz thing, and whether we had it in America. I can’t answer for all Americans on this one, but I’ve never heard of it. What is it?
I’ve got to go to sleep. 😉 It’s nearly 2:00 a.m. Talk to you later!

I have to say I agree with you. I really don’t like those types of guys or those storylines. They go from just being jerks to be actual abusers (*cough* Phantom) and yet we’re somehow supposed to support them in a relationship with a MC we’ve  (hopefully) come to love.
No, I don’t know what its about either, but I do appreciate…[Read more]

@f5a8c3e92 Another Australian! I see @seekjustice has found this topic. She’s our most frequent Australian person here, though there are a couple others who show up now and then.
I thought you must be from somewhere other than the U.S. because you said you were going to “uni” which is something we never say here. 😛 Accents can show up even th…[Read more]

@seekjustice Shaw intended Eliza to get angry with Higgins and leave him, going off on her own to take care of herself (and possibly marry Fred). I like that ending because Higgins was incredibly rude to her throughout the whole thing and acted like he was the only one who worked hard for the change in Eliza, ignoring the fact that she worked…[Read more]

What’s the ending? I’m curious now.
Sorry, I did see dances from My Fair Lady (and I did like them) but the ones I was actually thinking of were from Hello Dolly!

@seekjustice 😛 Yeah, well, I like the concept, and I love the music. It’s just the ending that ruins it for me. But, I’ve just been reading about Pygmalion, and apparently Shaw intended to have the ending that I would have liked, so I can like that about it, knowing that it was intended to be the way I liked, and people just had to put the r…[Read more]
