@sage-g Welcome to our kingdom. 🙂
Oh, wait! There is one very important question that has not been asked yet. Do you know what your personality type is?

I come again… In need of a bit of help.
I have another new character.
And he’s awesome.
But too see him….would be even more awesome.
He has brown hair, feathery and of average length, with a nice professional cut. He always has this manipulative, broad smile,…[Read more]

Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet @sage-g! *grins* What’s your favorite book? What kind of music do you like best? Do you have a favorite genre?

Kate Flournoy replied to the topic Title for my story in the forum Novel Idea Critiques 8 years, 11 months ago
@Daeus true… I didn’t notice that. I still think though that just picking it up and not knowing anything about the story, it really wouldn’t work for me. You wouldn’t notice the twist in the meaning until the very end of the book, and it’s not as integral to the overall theme as it could be. Just a brief reference to a part of the result.

@kate-flournoy Fyi, Fools In The Darkness comes straight from the theme as well.
“He walks up to the inner machine and opens the door where ten men are waiting for him. They have a foolish mission to do some good in a dark world and as fools they hope to succeed.”

@Daeus oh boy… 😛 Um. I have to say The Time Traveler’s Dilemma still takes the cake for me but if there really is another very popular book out there with a similar title, probably scratch it.
Fools in the Darkness… meh. Who wants to read about fools?
Key to the Future… I like it. It will probably grow on me. I especially like it because……[Read more] -

@kate-flournoy @winter-rose @salome01w4g @corissa-maiden-of-praise Oh my! The debate continues. What I’ll probably do is poll my subscribers. So are there any of these you don’t like?
Corissa, it should be out in a little over a month.

Of those three, Fools in the Darkness is definitely the most intriguing. I’d actually say I like it best of anything else suggested so far; it’s enticingly enigmatic, and (from the perspective of someone who hasn’t read the book 😉 ) it grabs my attention and makes me want to read it.
So when can I expect it to be published? XD -

@clairec
*peeks in with glittering eyes*
*grins evilly*
*laughs maniacally and brings the roof down in a shower of plaster*I am the wrong person to ask about this. XD My WIP was roughly 535,870 words as a finished second draft. I’m still cutting, but it will never be the length of a ‘normal’ book. 😛
That said, 70,000 sounds about the kind of…[Read more]

@salome01w4g She’s actually pretty much based off of me, so… yeah. We must have a lot in common. ;P 🙂
@mariposa *laughs dryly* A title? Is that really so important? 😛
No, no title yet. It is the most difficult book I’ve ever worked on as far as finding a title is concerned. -

No, he mine, I tell you. If any of you want him to be happy, then let him be.
@Hope unfortunately that’s not how it works. *scowls*

@graciegirl Thanks! I have a lot of fun taking pictures and finding verses to go with them- and God has given so many opportunities to do so with His marvelous creation! 😀
@jane-maree THAT COLLAGE. *dies* When can I read this book?!

@clairec But… I couldn’t really join in that debate, since I’m not on either side. I’m not adamantly against or adamantly for coffee. I’ll drink it every once in a while if I need to stay awake and study (not that it does much good ;P ), but I definitely prefer hot chocolate. Arctic White Hot Chocolate, to be exact. 😀
