Sorry for the tags if you’re not interested, guys.

Thanks! That is really helpful.
I guess in that case, I think my two main characters are actually antagonists to each other, maybe. They have opposite character arcs/ fatal flaws and kinda end up meeting in the middle at the end.
My other WIPs also need villains so I’ll probably be referencing this again.

Hey!
Not yet (wish). I’m just applying right now and History major is what I’ve been putting in the prospective major slot.
Wow, and to think I’m still in high school, terrified of collage.
It’s just a movie.
Thats what I thought, but you can never be to sure.
🤣🤣 Hmm. Sorry to gaslight you. Should have added a bigger warni…

I think horror is pretty amazing when done well. I don’t usually watch horror movies, but a good Steven King book can be phenomenal. Like others have said I feel like (just like any genre) it comes down to how the stories are executed and if it has a good message.
Yeah, like what I said, if its just gore then its a bore! (…[Read more]

@otherworldlyhistorian I have absolutely NO idea what you’re talking about but it seems like you enjoyed it! And the character arcs sound cool.

It is also my opinion that at least with my friends who are dudes we usually do more play teasing or complaining than when I am hanging out with my friends who are girls.
I’ve noticed that sort of thing. My brother and his friends trash talk each other and beat each other up a lot, whereas my friends and I talk about…[Read more]

Oh wow, this is so helpful! Thanks so much!
(I’m curious what scene y’all read. The full battle scene, or the aftermath one? Or both?)
I will tell you it feels like it’s a real guy, and it feels like real war, and I think what you had him do so far is what a guy would do
That’s a relief! Just getting you to s…[Read more]

I so agree with everything you said there.
I will also say that from my personal experience I seem to make friends less quickly than at least my sister but it also seems that my qualification and value for friendship is much deeper.
It could be a personality type difference too. I’m just like that too. I haven’t had a in…[Read more]

Ellette would love some feedback on the scene above, It is about a male character in grief, and it’s mostly troubleshooting at this point.

I have used AI a bit myself, for some of the things I have mentioned at the beginning. However, the more I do it, the less comfortable I feel about it. I’ve noticed that the stories can get very samey over time. I do still get curious, wondering if I put a chapter of my story in it, if it will be able to predict. For feedback, ChatGPT 3.5 cannot…[Read more]

Our co-op is Classical Conversations. The seventh through twelfth grades, (Challenge A, B, 1, 2, 3, 4), do blue book, which is our end of semester assessment. The teachers and parents say it is a “Celebration of what you’ve learned”, but we all think it’s a test. Otherworldly Historian, I’m only in ninth grade, lol.
