(much better than my randomness lol)

The randomness worked well for the setting and gave me ideas 😛

Lucy ran up next to him. “Let me see – come on.”

The peephole was too high for her, and Gabriel had to help her up.

She peeked through the hole. The sight of a warm, stone room greeted her eye. An old man sat on a chair, rocked back and resting, a book’s pages turning in the air of their own accord.

“You can go home,” she whispered.

I literally forget that food exists sometimes until my stomach starts hurting badly.

You might not find my advice useful, especially because you have a physical condition I don’t. I don’t presume to know how many physical vs. mental blocks you’re facing.

But I’ve been actively working on this problem myself. So maybe what I’ve been doing…[Read more]

Gabriel opened the door and they slipped into an open, circular room. A room filled with doors.

The doors surrounded Gabriel and Lucy. Tall, stove-sized, ash-white wood, paneled peeling rust – decorated with ornate arches, they encircled the room together. Lucy recognized most of the materials, even if some designs confused her.…[Read more]

ExcUse me. Noodle arms?? How dare you

I’ve gtg to bed. I will reply to your next thing when I have time tomorrow.

    Lucille

She shrugged. “I’ve hammered a rail spike before. Can’t be much harder.”

She didn’t bother to mention she had adult help in the challenge.

  • @rae

It’s funny to be the person with the younger weaker character. I’ve unlocked move sets I’ve never used before. Mwahaha

    Lucille

“Thank you for stayin’ around me. Even if… heh. I’m strong enough on my own to ride a giant crow.” Lucy flexed her arm and grinned widely.

It wasn’t natural for her to smile that wide but she wanted to do it.

Apparently we have only one way to potentially fix this problem. Behold, the power of cuteness:

    Lucille

“Hm.” Lucy stood next to Gabriel in the doorframe and watched him pause at the first step. She considered what she did with her parents in stressful emergencies. Awkwardly, she took his arm and gave him a hug.

    Lucille

Lucy stood holding the door open, but didn’t go inside. “Do you want me to stop talking? Isn’t there something to help you feel better?”

  • @rae

    Lucille

They came to a room without any extra doors. Gabriel looked for windows behind the curtains, while Lucy went to the nearest wardrobe. She found a flight of steps inside and waited for Gabriel to notice and confirm.

“Do you want me to stop talking?” she asked.

  • @rae

I’ll do it if I feel up to it, then. :]

    Lucille

“Can I help?” Lucy asked, beginning to feel concerned at this point and guilty for not knowing what to do. She clutched her new handkerchief in her pocket, ready to pull it out in case he needed it, but also twisting it nervously between her fingers. “It seems like your ears get pretty sore.”

  • @rae

I just pulled up my doc with her story scenes and I’m sorely tempted to write more. I posted one on here a while back but I hadn’t thought to do so again.

    Lucille

“Just because you’re wonderin’ it, doesn’t mean it’s true.”

Lucy paused. She peered at Gabriel intently, watching him curl forwards. She wasn’t sure what to do, but she tried to…[Read more]

Aw that’s cute XD Not at all a bad thing to picture when you hear the name. A friend of mine is called Lucy although that’s not why I used the name.

    Lucille

“I guess. It might be stuffy sometimes and okay sometimes,” Lucy thought out loud. Then she reconsidered his words, realizing he maybe wasn’t just answering her question. “Hm. I’m sorry…[Read more]

The hatchet had a new cover where it hadn’t before. Lucy smiled and held it to her face to smell the rich leather.

If she was honest, sleep still sounded good. But sitting around for long felt dangerous, like playing hide and seek and staying for too long in a poor hiding spot.

Wearily, she tried not to imagine the headless man…[Read more]

My littlest sister wants to tell you she likes Gabriel very much

  • @rae

    Lucille

Gabriel had a point, but the house held a certain uneasiness that Lucy couldn’t shake. She was already on her way out the door, but turned when he spoke. She tapped her forehead and flicked her hand, as if tipping an invisible cap. “We should go.”

    Lucille
Lucy thought about it. She swung off the bed and began rearranging the quilts and coverlet. “I’m awake now.”

  • @rae

    That’s what we’re here for!

I’m sorry, that sounds rough. I’ll keep praying for you ❤️ Ellette’s idea is a good one, but I don’t know if it’ll work for sure. Maybe you could have a reminder on your phone or something that tells you to eat a snack? Just getting into the routine of eating three meals a day even if you’re not hungry  could h…

“I saw a man.” She spoke quieter than she intended, but struggled to turn up her voice’s volume. “He didn’t have a mouth, Gabriel, and now he’s gone. So how are you hearin’ him?”

I’ve accidentally gone to bed with my handsome blue trench coat on and I’m sorely tempted to fall asleep in it and make it a routine. You’re telling me I can be comfortable and stylish in bed? 💅
