@seekjustice I hope you get to feeling better. I thought about you all day yesterday. BTW, do I get to read your book, or do you already have enough people or something?
@gh24682468999 Hi! I have not seen you for a while. Glad you popped in, even if I missed it.
@jenwriter17 BTW, the reason I have not finished reading your book is bec…[Read more]

@valtmy I would love to read it! Not sure if I will be much help, but I can tell you what I think anyway. 🙂

@rochellaine Yes, that is the one I was talking about. I have not seen all of the movie, just parts of it. I am already several chapters into Captain Blood. There are several neat movies that star Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHavilland together. Have you seen Robin Hood or Sea Hawk?

@seekjustice Ah yes, I forgot it was Sunday. 🙂 Listening to Les Miserables and being miserable? Sounds about right. 😛 Hope you feel better soon, though.
And tomorrow will be Sunday for me, too. 😉 I think I’m actually going to say goodnight now. We have guests, and they’re leaving early tomorrow so we have to be up and make breakfast for…[Read more]

@seekjustice Hello, hello!! I’ve missed you too, though it might not seem so since I wasn’t on either. 😉 The Western…goes okay. As you see, I have a bit of a dilemma. 😛 I think I’m going to focus more on the people than the church procedure, and that should work out fine. Especially since it’s the people I want my characters to meet, rath…[Read more]

@alia Just a normal, good church. I just want to describe it as a church that believes and preaches the Bible, which is what’s important. I’m just afraid that in describing it I’ll add other things that might make people think I believe you need those to make a good church, while I really believe taking the Bible literally is the important t…[Read more]

@alia Hi! How’s it going?

Rochellaine replied to the topic KP Book Club in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years ago
@ariel-ashira If by “the movie” you mean the Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland one, then yes. If not, no. 😛 But yes, that’s actually the reason it caught my eye, I had seen the movie and I though, “Wow! I had no idea the movie was based on a book!! Cool!” 😉 So anyway, I have only read a few chapters, but it’s really good so far.
Did you…[Read more]

@alia I’m here. 🙂
@seekjustice Second the above question: Are you still here?
I wasn’t on for the past two days either because we were at a conference where my parents were speaking and I was helping out with the website, the booth, and the little kids. 😉 But we just got home and I’m going to try and get some writing done tonight.

@leumeister That is a really cool design!! I like the back view(or second picture, whatever it’s supposed to be) best – probably because of the lights. 😉 My brother has a huge collection of the Star Trek miniature ships, and it reminds me of those, though of course it’s very different from most of them.
My sci-fi stories are about time t…[Read more]

@kaya-young *shivers at the realization of what I’ve done* Please forgive me if it isn’t good! I’ve never read it. 😮
At least I’ve read others by him, though. 😀 But do let me know whether it’s good or not. Even though it’s fantasy I might get up the courage to read it sometime. 😉

I would love to do this, but I have no idea what fantasy book I would read. Can you let me know when you do historical?
@rochellaine I like gutenburg too! And they have Captain Blood??!! No way! *rushes off to gutenburg* I have been wanting to read that book. Do you like it? Have you ever seen the movie?

@rochellaine Okay. 😀
@seekjustice Aww, I hope you feel better soon!
@dragon-snapper Do you remember the stuff you gave me when I was coughing in the middle of my sentences? Maybe it would help our queen right now. 😉

One can forget a story, alter a story, or even throw away a story, but one can never completely abandon a story.

@kaya-young Oh, and if you have an iphone you can get any gutenberg books on ibooks, or on any kindle app you can get them, but I don’t think you can get them on an actual kindle. I used to read them on my iphone and sometimes on a kindle app, but now I mostly read them directly off the website just on my computer.
You can probably get…[Read more]
