@freed_and_redeemed whoa nice!
@liberty Let’s see….
(and don’t worry, calling adult or near adult male characters “boy” is a common thing among writers)
He’s the spiritual one, the one that’s always reminding the other characters to trust God or to appreciate their surroundings. He loves animals and plants and being out in nature. He’s…[Read more]

Idk. I’ve already had all my questions about GE answered.
Maybe what his first story idea was? Or what were some of the most impacted books for him growing up?

The Wise Fool is one of my favorites.
Also, that character in the background with more knives than words, that is the first to react to a threat, but the least likely to comment on it. Mikhail Gregovsky from A Light in Zion fit this to a pin. Natan Israeli in Brother Enemy is similar, if more snarky. Smalls from Green Ember is kinda like this to…[Read more]

I’m not sure how I feel about what you said, because one of the plot points includes making a brave phone call.

“We should try hunting together. I think it be interesting to see how we would act in the other person’s area or something. I don’t know!”

@ellette-giselle wow….interesting section! I feel a bit bad for the one who believed right before the priest slashed his throat. But I agree with Leon, the sadness is tempered by the fact that they are in the presence of God Himself now.

Having no emotional connection to Sniper, my eyes immediately go to the art technique. I’m heartless. XD
LOL!
it’d be weirder if you did have an emotional connection to him with no prior knowledge of what’s going on.

Oh really? I love them. It’s so fun to start tying them together in subtle ways.
Oh don’t get me wrong, I still love it.

And neither of the two guys have met. 😂
And that’s when things get fun, when characters are technically connected but they haven’t met yet
