@leumeister Yeah, why not? 😛
Not necessarily, but if it makes you feel better…
Would your character rather eat tree bark or drink swamp water?

@kate-flournoy Ah, well not everybody knows it, obviously. 😂😆
Maybe I should substitute that with a tagline then, like, “take your writing to the next level.”

@Daeus nope, not crazy. But in my experience you don’t even have to click on the link in the description; if you click on the pin, then click it again, it’ll take you back to the link embedded in it. And I think just about everyone knows that about Pinterest, so you might just end up stating the obvious.

@princesswriter Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet!
What are some of your favorite authors? Are you writing anything at the moment?
See you around!

@kate-flournoy @seekjustice @lifeofkatie So, just making sure I’m not crazy here. My sister showed me around on Pinterest a couple days ago and it seemed like someone had to click on your pin to see your description to click on your link to go to your site.
Therefore, I want people to click on my pin, right?
That’s why I have that call to action…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy I felt it expressed my personality nicely.

Nice turtles. 😀

@Daeus yes! Much better; either of those would work very nicely.

@aislinn-mollisong It’s from an old latin medical book and people just use it for filler.

@kate-flournoy Ah, okay. Here are two more examples then.
Don’t ask me why the lines on #1 are short. I designed them a little longer.

Daeus here— I just took one of your templates and put rough lines where I was talking about. If you shrink the text inside those lines, it makes it very neat and tidy and leaves clean, empty edges to frame the quote and make it look complete.

@lifeofkatie Do you have an example of what you’re talking about. I can’t quite imagine it.
And, sure, I’d be interested to know what programs you use.
@kate-flournoy I’m not exactly sure what you mean. :/
I’m using Canva.
I did experiment with a border like you were talking about. Here are three designs. None of them are amazing, but I think…[Read more]

@leumeister Why don’t you do all the WYRs in the topic?
Link, probably a video game.

Hey guys.
I’m back from the death of inactivity. 😛
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could try making one of my robot characters in this dramedy series I’m working on…
I have Camille…
Her main color is blue. In my head, she has a pattern of blue lines and chevrons (not the gas station brand) around her face. Lines can be curved, and…[Read more]

Depends on which character you’re talking about. I may go for more pop-rock for a certain character I’m thinking of.
Probably coffee. But he’s physically unable to drink. For now, anyway… 😛
Would your character rather watch a movie, or play a video game?

Well, I had looked it up before, and looked it up again just to get facts straight… It’s on Wikipedia if you want something a little more formal. 😛
XD
You’re welcome. I’m enthusiastic about anyone getting into CG, especially in the animation realm. Obviously, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s fine…I mean, it is…[Read more]

Yeah. Matthew Patrick of Game/Film Theory’s here too. 😛
I think it’s not so much the fact that the characters are robots, but we anthropomorphize the robots. Like, R2-D2 had a sort of stubborn, quick-witted side about him, WALL-E was curious, and the robots in the movie Robots were heavily anthropomorphized.
I’m still mentally w…[Read more]
