@Emma-Flournoy *amused smirk* Perhaps. Though I’m inclined to think you got more than your share of the practical side. XD

@Kate-Flournoy Why thank you. *basks in reflected glory*
*incredulous snort* And don’t say such things. We’re different sorts of mature. XD

@WarrioroftheRealm hmm… honestly, fantasy creatures are such a random hodge-podge of so many different things I wouldn’t worry too much about it, but I can see what you’re saying.
Umm… *scratches head* What about it right now makes it look like a missing link? Just the combined birdlike and reptilian features? If that’s a problem, you could…[Read more]

Yup, @Emma-Flournoy and I are sisters. Everyone thinks she’s older because she’s taller (*whispers* and more mature :”D) but I am the oldest, so… *shrugs**grins*

@RJK I actually haven’t read any of Irving’s stuff, though I’ve heard of him. He’s the one who wrote The Legend of Sleepy Hollow isn’t he? I want to read that sometime. 😀
😀 Yup, @Kate-Flournoy is indeed the one. The sister just above me in age…she’s 18 and I’m 16. She says I’m biased about her book, being her sister and all, but I remain…[Read more]

@RJK Les Miserables is my favorite book. (Favorite published one. 😉 My sister Kate’s WIP is close second.) IT’S INCREDIBLE. It’s extremely long—and no you should not read an abridged version—but it’s absolutely worth the time. I recommend it with the highest of recommendations. 😀 If you’re the kind of reader who likes Dickens and other…[Read more]

@RJK yeah… KP is just about swamped with INFPs. 😛 Tied for close second is INTJ, actually, and surprisingly most are women. INTJ women are supposed to be practically nonexistent. 😛
… how much of an MBTI nut are you? Because I’m pretty far gone… but I don’t wanna overwhelm you with random psychology dumps. XD

Kate Flournoy replied to the topic Hello! in the forum Start HERE 8 years, 9 months ago
@RJK hey! I’m an INFP too! Though I’m afraid no one in their right mind would ever mistake me for a Judger. XD
Let’s see, forum etiquette. *dons official ‘Director of Happiness’ robes* The only hard and fast rule is don’t tag more than ten people in one post, and then only relevant ones. Otherwise, general rules of Christian love. Not complicated. 😉

*runs in late and stands staring at the gobs of good advice*
I love you people.@DelightinLife personally, when I’m having plot issues it’s usually a problem with the protagonist. And when I come down to it, it’s usually because he hasn’t got any contradictions. He’s too predictable to do anything unexpected. Every character has something that…[Read more]

@RJK heyyyyy! Nice to ‘see’ you again. 😉 I see you found the introductory topics. *is glad she can give directions* XD
Wow… literally hundreds? *goggles* That’s… awesome? I hope you figure something out. 😛 I thought I had at least dozens, but I counted and came down to fifteen major ideas, so I was glad to find it a little more manageable.…[Read more]

@emily-d I reckon a lot of people use internet slang in everyday speech. “Lol, that’s totes funny. OMG, I can’t even.” XD I hardly use it even when messaging. But when its said out loud, it sounds really lame.

Hi, @Rjk,
Welcome to the bestistest place on the internet.
Zikers, that’s a lot of ideas! (You aren’t an ENFP, are you?)
Well, I’m excited to see what discussions you bring up. See you around.

I wasn’t quite sure where to put this, but I figured this would be a pretty good place.
Basically, my friends and I run a group writing blog, and we are almost to our 100th post.
We’re going to be answering questions as a celebration post, which means that we need questions. What would you ask a group of young writers, regarding writing or just…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper I think my Mum said that Christians especially use the term “unpack.” We’re also homeschooled, and a lot of the resources we used were American, because that’s all there was, so she’d seen it around a lot.

Louise Fowler replied to the topic Just Chatter #2 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 9 months ago
@dragon-snapper I don’t know if this would be considered slang, but Americans say “unpack” a lot in the context of teaching. Like, “We’ll unpack this as we go.” It is really annoying 😛
