Yes! Homeschooling is the best!
Maybe I’ll jump into the character castle! Just not quite sure where to start…
1. I love all three of those genres, although I don’t read or write a lot of historical fiction. I think my favorite with historical fiction is fantasy in a historical setting. It’s just so cool! I feel that for…[Read more]

I’m not really sure either, but I think you can share your projects and writing. You can also publish what you write there, too. I tried sharing mine with you to test it out. I’m @TheLoonyOne cause, you know, why come up with a new username. 😂

@loopylin I mean google docs is better than just paper (although I do love just paper). 😁

@loopylin @freedomwriter76 @folith-feolin @mineralizedwritings @ava-blue
I’ve started trying out a writing platform called campfire write. You can organize all your world-building, including characters, locations, plot, and more. You can also write your story on it while referencing your information. I thought I’d share this with my fellow…[Read more]

Hey @lightoverdarkness6! I’m TheLoonyOne!
I’m also a homeschooled teenage girl too! And I love writing (of course)! I’d love to get to know you and talk about writing!
I was teaching in nursery today. We started learning about Esther and our big idea was God helps us from behind the scenes. They are, however, three-year-olds, so we mostly played…[Read more]

Thanks! 😁
I think I tagged you on my WIP edits topic where I shared what I’ve written so far. I’m six chapters in. I also wrote some of a character study for Elissa which is… somewhere on this one. Those are all that I’ve written, but my friend got me started on a procrastination streak so now I have two character playlists…[Read more]

Oh yeah, I’ll write sad scenes but there has to be comfort somewhere. Usually. So there will be a happy ending to Elissa’s thing.
No, I don’t think I do. I like to write pretty much anything, some are just way harder than others.

Thanks! Yeah, I made it sad. And I love it. 😎😁
I’ve started on the fourth part! (More procrastination)

😁 Hehe, thanks! I did the right, right, thing once, and then again, and then it became a thing. xD I’ll send you the whole thing once I finish the last two parts. And ya’know try to write the actual novel. Writing it did help me to get my traction back, though, so it’s good. 😊

@mineralizedwriting
Thank you so much! And thanks for the advice and edits!
Yeah, I noticed that too when I put the link to the document here. 😐 But I made it a copy of the actual document so I can probably just take the edits and then delete it. Then my email won’t stay here forever. 😆

Ok, so you are spot on with the relationship thing. Basically, when he was a kid his only friend was Elissa and then she moves away. He had already been using the simulation a little because his mom had one and so started using it more and more often. He just doesn’t try to build any more relationships and stays on the…[Read more]

I’ve actually been having a tough time with Milo and goals. Because he is addicted to the simulation he doesn’t really have any goals except level up on the simulation. So I guess I’m giving him goals. Shoving them in his face. Same with the drive. What drives him? Pretty much nothing except the simulation. So I have to give…[Read more]

Thank you so much for reading it!
So, Milo’s features. I didn’t actually think about it until I was making character charts so I’ll probably go back and add it.
A lot of it will actually take place in the outside world, more and more as Milo uses the simulation less. But outside outside not as much. The simulation was made…[Read more]

Thanks! Also, it’s not dystopian as I usually picture it (as in the government is clearly up to things and there is a lot of death). I think it is a little closer to Fahrenheit 451 in that it has more social problems than government problems. But not even that, though. My best explanation would be Sci-Fi with obvious social…[Read more]
