hey everyone! I just bought three new books and I plan on reading them soon. I wanted to see if anyone of you had read any of these, and if so, I would appreciate any warnings of questionable content. Here they are:

Defier, by Mandy Fender

Swipe, by Evan Angler

Last Light, by Terri Blackstock

btw, is anyone on Goodreads?

@aislinn-mollisong That’s exactly what happens to me if someone asks more questions after I say “oh it has some horses in it. kinda mysterious thing going on.”

@rochellaine Hmm, the show sounds interesting. I’ll have to check it out. I haven’t watched anything before on dailymotion.com though.

@rochellaine oh yeah…………yeah no I still don’t know him. 77 Sunset Strip sounds a teensy bit familiar but I’ve never seen it. is it a good family movie?

@dekreel I’m glad @rochellaine included this link ’cause I don’t know the answer to your questions. I’m learning right along with you! 🙂

@gh24682468999 Hey! Another person (besides me) who has read Ranger’s Apprentice!!!!!! (Sorry, it’s a really good series in my opinion.)

Oh…um…sorry, that was totally off-topic for this forum.

@skredder I like it! So is this a part of a story, or a stand alone one?

@josiebeth I love K. M. Weiland too! I’ve read her Outlining Your Novel, Structuring Your Novel, and Creating Character Arcs (and I use the workbooks). I haven’t actually read any of her fiction yet though.

If you like to read fantasy, Chuck Black and Robert Treskillard has some really good ones!

@kaya-young thanks! I really like short names and Rin seemed to fit her personality really well

@rochellaine nice collages! I tried really hard to recognize some of the faces. but, alas, I don’t think I know them. I almost thought Jared looked familiar…..

@sam-kowal Yeah I totally didn’t watch it either. was writing 🙂

But…..

I AM SO GLAD THE EAGLES WON! MORE IMPORTANTLY; THE PATRIOTS LOST! 😉 it was so cool that some of them on the team gave glory to God. (oh, yeah I realize @livgiordano just said that)

@joisebeth Welcome to the bestistest place in the world! (hmm, seems I’ve been beaten to saying it)

I like to write Christian contemporary and fantasy too. I also like historical fiction.

what are your favorite books/movies?

I like music too. I’m guessing by your profile pic you play an instrument? I play piano and guitar. I LOVE music by…[Read more]

@rochellaine I agree too. more conflict makes things more interesting *rubs hands together*

I’m in the USA too. 😊

@princessfoo Cool! *high fives*

@jane-maree yay, thank you! that means a lot coming from you 😊

@nicoleriver03 That looks great!👍

Here’s a character collage for my main character, Rin Adachi:

@gh24682468999 lol, sometimes it’s just best to keep things private. ah, us writers are so misunderstood. 😉

@sarah-anson Thanks! That really helps!

You know you’re a writer when you look up weird stuff. Really weird stuff.

You also know you’re a writer when you can spot mistakes in books.

And also when you find plot holes in your own writing and you have to scream.

And when you make a ton of characters and then you forget about them, and then they come back to haunt you.

@jenwriter17 I get a week long break every seven weeks.

Welp, I guess I’ll leave you guys to your own resources…Have fun.
