No, I don’t think so… but I don’t know if this forum even has forty four more active members, let alone all from different states. 😉

I was born in Texas, if that counts for anything… love that state, despite all the mosquitoes. 😀

Would it be considered rude to tag people so that they get notified about this conversation? (Cause that is not my intention) *puppy dog eyes*

@sarah-h I thought you might be interested since you are from Arizona. We (actually I should say, my two sisters) have just studied Arizona. Here are a few facts that we found out.
The flag: The 13 rays of the red and gold on the top half of the flag represent both the 14 original colonies of the Union and the rays of the Western setting sun. Red…[Read more]

Ok. Try this. (A big thanks to all who added their two bits) 😀

In a land long ago,
Where the men were all bad,
They swore by God’s name,
And made Him so mad.

He said, “I’ll destroy you.
I’ll wipe out human,
I’m sorry I made you.
I’ll start all again.”

But then He remembered
A God-fearing man,
His name of Noah,
God drew him a plan.

He tol…[Read more]

Sadly I’ve never had the chance to get my hands on a boomerang. (some Aussie I am. 😛 )

Hi Sarah. Hmmm….Australia.
The biggest island in the world and the smallest continent. We have three oceans that touch Australia. (I didn’t know about one until maybe two days again. 😀 )
Each state/territory is very different from each other. I have been to South Australia, New South Wales and and Kangaroo Island. (Just off South Aus)
I have…[Read more]

But @kate-flournoy…no American authors? What about Mark Twain (some of the time), Serena Chase, or umm, *clears throat at Grimina’s insistence* even lesser known authors who like retelling fairy tales?

Somehow I missed that the first time around, @hope… 🙂
I was thinking more classical, so I didn’t think of those, but yes all three of tho…[Read more]

@Daeus: That’s so funny! No, unfortunately, I have too much going this week. 🙁

@faithdk, Cool! I’ve never had goat milk before. And yes, they tasted good. 😛

@Daeus, that’s so cool! 🙂 Where you by any chance at the Celtic Ball in December of 2015? I thought I saw someone who looked like you there, but I wasn’t sure.

Hm… you just may be surprised. Obviously nothing’s certain, but I’ve a gut feeling you just may be surprised.

@kate-flournoy, I hope you’re right…

Okay, I just gotta say it right…

That is quite funny, actually. And ‘Republican’ used to be a dirty word— now it’s the other way around. 😛

@Gretald…

-Trump’s probably going to win the Republican nomination. Sadly. Very Sadly.

@Daeus

Now if Rubio would drop out, that might flip things right around.

I cannot tell you how much I wish he would drop out— and Carson a…[Read more]

Well actually @Sarah-h, in my current novel the MC’s arc spans… eh… one two three four… four? Yes, four years, and it’s not been either annoying or unrealistic. In fact, it’s more realistic to have the character take a long time to make up their mind, because no one really makes snap decisions on that level of importance… specially when…[Read more]

Near Columbus (north of Delaware). What about you? @Daeus

@Daeus, true, true. Sorry. 🙂 Okay, I’ll stop now. I just need to give it back to God.

All that being said, I’m proud to be an American, and America is truly a wonderful place to live. 😀

Another Ohioan here. Can I just say that Ohio is the most underrated state in the US? It’s really a very pretty state, and I love here. 🙂

Okay, stuff about the US…hmm…
-Trump’s probably going to win the Republican nomination. Sadly. Very Sadly.
-Hillary’s going to win the Democratic nomination. Again, sadly.
-I wish I could vote, but…[Read more]
