@daeus It sounds really interesting, Deaus, and congratulations for getting this far! 😀 Unfortunately I don’t think I’d have the time. Thank you for tagging me, though, and good luck with the rest of the process! 🙂

@destiny *facepalm* I knew I had forgotten somebody.

@livylynn It sounds really good! And I am very interested, but I don’t think I’ll be able to. I’m already beta reading three other things for three friends, plus I have a few projects of my own that I really need to give some time to. 🙁 Sorry! But I just wanted to say, your story sounds so interesting, if I had the time, I’d definitely want to…[Read more]

Here is day 2. I’m not following a prompt list or anything.

Here is my Inktober Day 1.

@kate-flournoy

Wow. Government reflects the people’s worldview. Great point! Never thought about it like that before.

Also, @aratrea, @kate-flournoy, @daeus

Who do you think first created the “political intrigue fantasy” subgenre (new genre title officially coined)?

Jackson E. Graham

@daughteroftheking *explodes because of happiness that she helped someone think of something differently*

I HAVE ARRIVED.

I not only adore political intrigue in fantasy, I believe it can be absolutely essential for developing your world and characters.
Disclaimer before I explain that— a fair chunk of my characters are inherently political by very…[Read more]

@amy-l-klob Welcome to the site! Glad you made your way over into getting an account. 😉 What sort of stuff do you like to read?

@dragon-snapper

Not necessarily an info dump where the author tells you everything about the royal line, etc. I’m more referring to where there are those competing for the throne (for an example).

Jackson E. Graham

@livylynn Hey! Do you have a certain time you want the feedback sent to you? I’m super interested (fairytale/ sci-fi sounds fascinating!) but am trying to think through all my time commitments.

@mariposa Actually, I don’t think I should give Raruus any bullets at all…. (And yes, I love the Andy Griffith show!) 😀

@aislinn-mollisong It is National Novel Writing Month. It’s traditionally in November, but who has time for that?

@hannah-c Meybe…I’ll think about it, but schedule never work like that. 😛

@amy-l-klob *gasp* No one said it…

WELCOME TO THE BESTISTEST PLACE ON THE INTERNET! 😀

I’m Dragon Snapper, pleased to meet you. 😀

Do you have a novel you’re working on?

@warrioroftherealm Here’s honesty.

I do not like the political intrigue, if it’s what I think you’re referring to.

INFO DUMPS.

AGH!!

@amy-l-klob Welcome!!! I’m so glad you found KP! (Before I joined KP I hadn’t used a forum either :p don’t hesitate to ask questions if you need help navigating this new world 🙂 )
And a fellow drama lover! Favorite drama? Do you like musicals?

@joy-schmidt You’re back! (again, haha 😀 ) Couldn’t stay away, huh? :p I’m super glad you’ve returned! (Maybe this time we’ll succeed at keeping you around?)

@warrioroftherealm oh my heavens. This question. Just— I have a rant, okay? And I don’t have time to rant it right now.
But just you wait.
Just.
You.
Wait.
*drools*

@warrioroftherealm YES!!! Definitely. It must have intrigue. I looove political intrigue.

Granted, that opinion is probably heavily tainted by the fact that I’m an ENFJ, but ENFJs are always right, so I declare this debate over
