Hey guys I’m back. I’m mildly recovering from a cold, so bear with me here.

So I just thought I would write down some of the connections that the characters have with each other, but it’s really complex because what’s better than actually writing the book? thinking about writing! 🙂

(what is the cousin of a prince called cause he’s higher than a duke or archduke but idk if he’s technically a prince but his mom was a princess so yeah I guess he is but he doesn’t want to actually lead a country.

🤩🤩 oh my gosh I love these ideas!!

Me and the friend iny writing this book with had had the idea for pain manipulation, which I guess can either make people feel pain when they’re not hurt, or take it away, which is kind of like what you said.

I absolutely love the idea about containing people’s diseases and illnesses! That sounds awesome!

It’s more like they have random powers because I think me and my friend came up with this rule that they have like a really powerful power and then the other powers are just free reign I guess 🙂

I’m looking for powers that could either be used for great good or great evil, ones with not a lot a gray area because Mira kind of manipulates people into thinking she’s this hero and that they should join her cause (she wants the magical sorcerer stone thing to become all-powerful). So maybe something that can be good in moderation but she secretly uses it for her evil benefits?

Hello!! I won’t take your opinion as a grain of what because your opinion matters and I low-key need criticism 😅. Let me explain my idea a bit better. I’m trying to go for 1/3 original, 1/3 tangled, and 1/3 my personal idea.

In the original story, the guy who finds rapunzel is a prince; in tangled, he’s a thief; and so I wanted to combine those two ideas!!

I feel like I actually might change it so he’s just a prince that just wants to be a regular citizen, so he pretends he’s not a prince. Maybe the prospect of ruling an entire kingdom is too big a responsibility for him, or maybe he doesn’t want an arranged marriage. Either way, I wanted to have it that way because I feel like if he told Suna that he was a prince, then she wouldn’t be as mean to him as she is.

Keep in mind that I really haven’t read the original story and am currently doing research on it so that I can have a deeper understanding of the actual story.

I’m kind of in a process, so bear with me as I learn things and change parts of the story to fit better with the original. I see nothing truly wrong with my story idea, and I feel like, yes I could make my own original story, but it could be more fun to tie it to something many people already know!

I just read To Kill A Kingdom, which is a retelling of The Little Mermaid, the movie, not the original story, and it was quite different than the original storyline but while reading, you could still tell that it was a retelling. It was a really good book and if you haven’t read it already, I think you should!

I don’t really like fanfictions either, but I wouldn’t classify this as a fanfiction. Think of it more like taking an already existing story and tweaking a few things and putting your own spin on it! I think it will be quite fun and hope you will bear with me as I go through this journey.

Ok, update:

The queen is gonna be from the Khidian Empire, which is kinda like ancient China. Hey name is going to be Xiajie.

The king’s name is going to be Horik and he is from and rules the Athiccerian Empire.

The princess’s name will be Sunandha Feiyan Khamti of Athicceria, but her aunt “renamed” her Suna.

The aunt’s name will be Jingshou cause she’s cool but she changes her name to Xiang’e.

The prince will be Theon Andreas Teres of Beles from the Belesoan Empire, which is kind of, like, Central-American-inspired.

I’m so excited 😆😆

Ok so my book is basically about these seven teens/young adults who have to travel through this magical world and Earth trying to use this magical stone all for different reasons and there’s drama and romance and MAGIC and thievery and i currently sound like the grandpa from Princess Bride 🤣

My favorite character in this story (to write at least) is one of two guys: Lam and Apollo.

Liam is fun to write because he’s from the other world and so he doesn’t understand all these earthly things and references and it’s just so funny.

Apollo is fun to write because he was originally supposed to be the VILLAIN but me and my friend (who are working on this together) changed it because we got too attached to him so not he’s the son of the villain and all he’s trying to do is impress his mom (the villain) but she’s so abusive and a rural wackjob and a total psychopath and i just love writing his character development and all his trauma….

What inspires me to write? I don’t really know. It’s like… a feeling you get when it’s raining and you’re reading and you get like a little mini headache that doesn’t hurt but makes your jaw clench and makes you yawn but you don’t want to like YAWN yawn so you do it with your mouth closed and then your eyes water and so everyone’s asking why you’re crying and you’re not crying but you want to now.

It’s like when you’ve been having a freaking AMAZING day so you are purposely do something that makes you sad because you don’t want to be too happy.

That’s it i guess. A feeling.

Anyhoo, that was super interesting.

Uh my preferred dinner food is probably either burgers, my mom’s pizza, or Chick-fil-A lol.

I really only write in fantasy, but I’ve always wanted to write like a spy book or something and make it an enemies to lovers with the lady assassin falling in love with her target.

Or some military story where the girl is the daughter of the guy in charge and the main guy is doing so good at his job that the girl’s dad favors him so she hates the main guy and tries to kill him but then they fall in love…

Lol can you tell that enemies to lovers is my favorite trope?

I actually don’t get asked this a lot.

I try and use the correct name of the Church as often as i can, i just find it simpler to say Mormon in certain public spaces where people might not recognize the name The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

I know it is very stressed and i actually feel like Latter-Day Saints is also a good name for us members. When people ask what my religion is, I tell them that i am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but they most times are confused at that, so then i have to say Mormon.

It’s a thing.

Also, i was looking at this ACT booklet that my brother had gotten and one of the things was like “what religion do you belong to” and it was such a long list and i saw they they actually had it as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and i was so happy 😁😁

So yeah, I also stress the use of the correct name, but it’s hard because people don’t really know us members by that name, so i almost always have to say Mormon afterwards. I don’t really consider us under the name of  Mormons, i just say it so it’s easier.

Fun fact: did you know Ryan Gosling is a member?

That just makes me happy, i dunno.
