Out of curiosity, which side did you take?
It is okay to lie to protect others. The assignment was a persuasive essay on the Hiding Place, and my issue was whether or not the Ten Booms should have lied to protect the Jews.

Erm, I’m not sure, is there one that would be easier for you?
If not, I feel like doing their real names for the sake of simplicity makes the most sense, but I’d be fine with either!

I have had the formatting issue. It usually goes back to normal after a few minutes, but it’s strange and inconvenient.

Ooh, I understand. M’kay, so I cannot write a book without a dual POV, lol, I think it’s impossible for me at this point. XD
When I first started writing from a dual POV, I gave each POV a chapter, but as I starting writing better stories, I noticed that I was adding unnecessary stuff to the chapters, just to make them lon…[Read more] -

Aaaaarrgh, decisions. I’ll probably choose and introduce mine tomorrow or overmorrow. Should they be human? Mine will most likely be, but I also have a lot of duck pairings. (I have friends who always ask me for “duck romance” stories, lol.)

Yes, and after all the entries are posted, we elect 1-3 judges who aren’t doing a story, and they decide upon a winner.
Okay! I plan on doing the music one.

Okay! So I’ve finally decided on which charries to put in here, so without further ado…
First couple! Nazyrin
Zyrin: he is tall with pale skin, blue eyes and dark hair. He’ll probably be wearing medieval style clothing. From his chest emanates an icy blue glow called Essence. His personality is reserved and cautious but fiercely…[Read more]

First, your reviews are excellent. I’m impressed with your thoroughness.
I would rate it 4 stars. I loved it, though the swearing did get on my nerves. It would be 5 stars if there wasn’t so much swearing. I thought the MC, (it’s been a while since I’ve read it, and I don’t remember his name), and Sefawynn were adorable…[Read more]

oh I forgot he also has pointy ears. This would be so much easier with pictures.

“Yep. All mine.” Liko grinned. He was propping himself up with one arm and using two others to undo the tape. With the spare, he tried to wipe some mud off his cheek, but only ended up smearing it.
“I’m talan. I’m assuming you’re human, right? Sorr…[Read more]

TheArcaneAxiom replied to the topic Any tips for writing serious characters? in the forum Characters 2 years, 3 months ago
Simply think about why the character is the way they are. Are they a pessimist, simply lack humor, quick to anger, or perhaps they are solemn and ponderous? In what way are they serious, and what lead them to be that way. Are there insecurities that are being masked by a flat face? How does this character interact with others, and how…[Read more]

Oh goose ooh
The goose was gaining passing by,
honk, honk, honk
he stopped and gave the dance a try,
honk, honk
he was dancing to the samba,
a new thing, a new swing
Then a lovely swan swam by
In all her majesty, and she loosened up
Hoochy-coochy-coo did that swan
She joined the duck and goose and did the samba too
You should have seen the kind of samba she could do
They did the samba so long, they all fell right in the water
While they were singing away
Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack
Quack, quack, quack, quack, quack
Quack, quack, quack, o pato
Dare I ask? 😂
