That’s great! I enjoy writing free verse poetry and occasionally standard poetry, but I mostly do creative writing. 🙂
Ah, wonderful choice!!! I love fantasy, too, especially C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien’s work. XD
Oooo, I’ve heard a lot of good things about Keefe! I’ve actually never read KOTLC, but a lot of my friends enjoy it. :)…[Read more]

Great question! When it comes to other denominations, I don’t have any brilliant advice, unfortunately. As for other religions, while my advice is far from brilliant, at least I have some! XD
I’m assuming you’re writing these books to influence your readers toward Christ. This being the case, I think it’d be great to contrast…[Read more]

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the KP forum and, best of all, to the Lord’s family!!! It’s wonderful to have you in both. 😀 I’m Lydia.
Since the pineapple question has already been asked, I suppose I’ll fall back/invent my own induction questions. Only answer if you’d like to. 😉

MY RYKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR… (I’d be tempted to be upset with how much pain my poor baby is going through if I didn’t appreciate how absolutely beautiful all these layers of tragedy are😂) Wonderful job, my friend! I love how this added layer of guilt plays in. BRAVO!!!!
Aadelheide seems so sweet!!! But not as sweet as Ryker. …[Read more]

Heyy Keepers! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been back here (secretly wondering if the font changed lol). Anyways, I was just laughing to myself about how random we writers are, especially when it comes to our search histories😂 For example, my top searches today (writing-related) were:
1) what happens to the orbital cortex when it’s damaged?…[Read more]

Hi, Ella! Just wanted to pop in and see how you’re doing. I hope life is being good to you and your writing is going well. 🙂 <3333-
Heyyy what’s up?? Thank you for bringing me back here haha I haven’t been on kp in forever. Writing is ok, but I’ve not been super productive with summer jobs and friends and stuff u know? I tried to do camp nano but it wasn’t really possible, plus im not super inspired recently. I’ve been reading a lot recently! Maybe I should try a new genre.&#x…[Read more]

Aww, the inspiration will come flooding back soon, and you’ll be a best-selling author in no time!!! 😀
Writing-wise, I’ve been mainly brain-dumping for some of my biblical fiction ideas. I’m really enjoying it! I got accepted into…[Read more]

MY BABYYYYYYYYYYYYY…
I don’t think I’ll get tired of reading about him any time soon… 😉
1. Definitely! I thought the contrast between the visible and invisible blood on his hands was particularly powerful.
2. Yes. @elishavet-pidyon made a phenomenal point: the fact that Ryker believes his trembling is because of…[Read more]

Many of my characters from the trilogy deal with those same things! Especially Simon the Zealot. At this point, I think I’m as old as James and John would have been… But since I’m not a guy, all of my MCs are men, and I’m dealing with the greatest story ever told, I feel like I need to hold off for a while. I need a guy’s brain…[Read more]

You’re good!!! If anyone understands how busy life gets, it’s me. XD
Aww, I completely agree with your top three when it comes to your characters! Ryker is my favorite, but I love Ezra and Leon, too. When it comes to my characters, it’s a bit complicated. XD For an individual WIP, a nameless retelling of the story of David, the…[Read more]
