I also don’t want to leave unless we’re banished. If you think contacting Sir. DeGraaf will help, then I would say, try it. Even if it’s just for advice on facing down bugs. Do you know if he knows the current KP moderators?

Splindiferous work!
I just got the cabbage stuck on the stove so we can eat in a few minutes.
Right now I’m wavering between WIPs. Mostly SR (Vulka and Zlati), TC (more recent WIP my sister’s in on), and a semi recent WIP currently without a title that my mom actually started me plotting. There are others, but I’ve basically…[Read more]

Awesome! You already have more words down that I get in several hours of writing.

Good! I’m lounging around after work, waiting for dinner to finish in the slow cooker and enjoying the fact that I don’t have any homework for the moment.
How’s life?

I’ve used GroupMe a lot. You can create subtopics and stuff like that, but I’m not sure how well it would work for a substitute KP. It’s a group messenging app, not a forum layout…?

Yes! I like how you did Rolf’s story. It didn’t disrupt the flow, but also kept you from an info dump (while still avoiding the confusion of too many flash backs). Well done.
Conrad. *Sniffles* Brave young boy.
One note: Rolf seems to weep a lot in the desert, despite severe dehydration. While I understand him crying, I’d…[Read more]

Yep, one of hers. It doesn’t have a lot to do with the book, but there is an otter who shows up with hisÂ
tridentgreat fork part way through. He’s possibly one of my favorite characters. -

Story Embers? They closed their community forum down, so convo is basically impossible.

It would be nice to have a closed community…
I really hope everything irons out here, but I would probably be open to joining another “Rivendale” made of marooned KeePers if this kingdom does crumble away.

First off, that is a splendid parody of that classic Veggietales parody.
Secondly, I join the list of concerned KeePers. What has happened to the most noble Moderators who lead us? What shall our kingdom do without our ruling council?
Really, I hope we haven’t been dropped. And that the Ramms are ok. And the other moderators, like…[Read more]

Ah, a KaPeefer finally asked this most interesting of questions…
XD
Short story: “Fork the Gork!” Is a rally cry from one of my sister’s books (her Beliriegn children’s story, if she ever talks about it on here). Certain characters tend to use it with conjunction with their own battle cry “Fork…[Read more]

Oh gracious. That’s quite a parody.
It is concerning though. I wonder if there’s any other way to contact her.

How… Wow. That’s pretty spectacular. I like it
🙂
By the way, I have this goofy habit of adding dialogue onto the end of what the author writes. Erich was in the middle of threatening to clean the place with his gun before I realized the conversation had changed. XD
Which is probably from how happy I was to see someone…[Read more]

Ouch. Leon, you’ve still got a pocket full of broken glass to work out.
Also…how did Erich end up in the US Army?!
(thank you for hitting Franz for me, Leon)

Whaley and Ducky have great advice! *takes notes* I don’t have much practice with fiction in this department, but this is a great question, so I’ll share my thoughts.
I’ve been with a few people in the days or even hours before they died, but they were all very ill and usually could not communicate. However, notes from what I have heard…[Read more]

But what if someone were to hide behind the corner with a spray bottle and keep the rock wet on a sunny day?
That’s what I think of every time I see that picture.

Pana cotta is really easy to make! It just takes a minor eternity for the gelatin to set up in the fridge. My cousin and I made a bunch in under 30 minutes. It then had to sit overnight in the fridge (although we ate some at dinner even though it was soft).
And I can’t seem to find the recipe book. =|
You can totally do that. Just…
